Granddaughters loved the sand toys left to play at the beach. Aquarium, zoo and restaurants close. Bus transportation was excellent. Towels were plentiful, but a dry rack would have been helpful as laundry now 2:50 a load. Supplies limlted. Be prepared to wait a day if call for more. A few teaspoons, a larger measuring cup and 1 smaller pot would be helpful. Furniture was tired, but manageable for 1 week. Had a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

"First of all, it was a relatively low floor this time."Because the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate on the stairs.
"Overall, the room was spacious, and I could spend a comfortable time with everyone in my family."There was a jacuzzi in the hotel pool, so adults could heal their tiredness, and there was a playground equipment right next to it, so children aged 3 and 5 could enjoy it together."
Furthermore, the location of the hotel was convenient as it was close to shopping and beach.
If I can visit Hawaii again, I would love to stay at the Banyan Hotel."I am grateful to Mr. Dooley, the owner of this room, for having a comfortable time this time.

The location is excellent one block from Wakiki beach, restaurants, starbucks etc. Parking was included that was a great savings. The apartment and furniture are old. Not a good night sleep one bed you sink in the middle not made for two and the A/C was loud. I called the company to ask for beach chairs that was in the description as being available they provided the chairs within a few hours.

It was a great place to stay at, it was very convenient since we were so close to the beaches, restaurants and stores. We had a great view of diamond head crater, as well as the beach, we were able to see beautiful sunsets as well as sunrises, and view the fire works from our room.

The condo was perfect for our family, Spacious ,clean and well-maintained. The parking permit was a plus for us.

The unit is clean and spacious, laundry room right beside with beach chairs in the locker room is very handy. AC works great. Complimentary parking is a good bonus. Good Mountain View from the balcony.

Couple small recommendations, extra blanket for the sofa bed would be nice. Beds would use an upgrade.

We travel to Oahu frequently and have stayed at the Waikiki Banyon many times in different condo units. We love this location because parking is included and our grandkids love the pool. This unit was not the best. While fairly clean, it is cramped and ill-equipped. The kitchen is not well-stocked and I had a hard time preparing meals. The unit is old and the caulking is failing, walls are dirty, etc. It is a corner unit with lots of street noise.

Property was clean. Well described but the material on the chairs on the lanai were thin and worn. We were afraid to sit on them.
One did rip while we were there. I told Property manager about the chair. Also they did not have anywhere secure to hold our luggage after we checked out. We purposely got a later flight on our last day so we could spend more time on the beach and we couldn't because we had our luggage.

This condo is very well located right by Waikiki beach…. But is has a lot of issues. The apartment was filthy: the floor had not been swiped or cleaned for days, there were dirty plates in the cabinets, dried rice in the microwave and on the kitchen counter, and even hairs in the bed! The AC unit is incredibly loud. One of the beds sinks about 5 inches in the middle, and the futon is super uncomfortable. The place is managed by Kokoresorts, which are NOT in the building anymore. We tried to contact them twice (for extra towels and toilet paper) and only got 50% success rate! The owner could not help us with this issue. You also have to pay for the few electric BBQs available and they shut them down at 8pm whether you are done or not. Oh, and the boogie boards are all broken and the tennis court is not usable. Bottom line: great location, but needs some love and better management.

This condo was amazing! It had everything that we needed and then some. We went with 14 people in our group. Spread through 4 different condos. Everyone else was jealous of how nice ours was! I will always try to rent from Scarlett and Dena Dooley. They took amazing care of us!

The condo was perfect for our family during spring break. Having the larger corner unit and the amenities locker with beach gear was really convenient. A short walk to the beach and Ala Wai canal. Having parking was a huge plus. A small cooler would be a great addition to the beach supplies. The building is older but a great place and value. We would stay again!

We could walk to everything in Waikiki, and when we wanted to venture further, the free parking was wonderful. We had 5 adults for part of our stay and there was plenty of room for all of us. When we discovered that the beach umbrella was broken, we received a quick response that if we could purchase an umbrella, we would be reimbursed! Washer/driyer and storage units were in a room next to our unit, but we never heard anyone as being in the corner, there was no sound from any other units! And being in a corner unit provided wonderful cross breeze so we did not need the air conditioner, especially with the bedroom ceiling fan! Full kitchen, only issue was no frying pan, just one small pot and large pots, but we did not really cook. Sofabed had a pretty soft mattress, but we didn't come to HI to sleep! We enjoyed our visit very much and hope to return soon!

We love Oahu and Waikiki, my husband grew up there and its always a magical place for us. Banyan is a good property, but listing info should be more accurate, maybe adding extra pics of the view and sleeping arrangements/ doors, and solving problems wasn't set up.
#1 - Pic view on VRBo site is a bit misleading, as from this condo you will not see ocean, only from the small kitchen window where is no space to sit and enjoy. If i knew we would not be facing ocean, i’ll book different place.
#2 Its was 4 people and i asked to provide sheets AND quilts for the sofa bed, but there were only 1 sheet we found, emergency phone # said “ Oh, im sorry, nothing can be done today, but i promise, I’ll let maid know to bring you tomorrow” (((, so today was cold and uncomfortable and nothing happened tomorrow or days after. When after 2 days we came ( attention : only during short business hours) man told us that he has limited quilts and hesitated, but finally provided us with quilt and extra sheet - it shouldn’t be like this. Men said its not a hotel, so what the owner left - this is it.
I can see that condo started to be remodeled- kitchen is new, but air conditioner/ heater is loud and opened balcony door is not a choice- its like opening door into Manhattan- loud noise 24/7, so i suggest bring ear plugs.
#3 - its very uncomfortable sofa bed.
This condo, if remodeled a bit more, can work well - its rare place where 4 comfortably could live with privacy of the door between two sleeping zones, and not being 2 bedrooms its cheaper. Laundry nearby is a plus.
Overall i give 3 stars, but it could be 5 with a little effort. We, of course, enjoyed many areas of Oahu and Waikiki is an amazing place.

We were given specific instructions for checking-in and checking-out so everything went smoothly. We were only a 5 minute walk to the beach, which was SO helpful because finding/paying for parking is really hard! There are so many shops and restaurants nearby as well as destinations close by that our tour buses picked us up at.
There were four of us and it was just enough space. If you have heavier set people or taller people, the beds might be slightly too small. Sleeping on just the couch was comfortable, but when it was pulled out into a bed, it was not the most comfortable place to sleep. We were given a key that opened a locker in the room next door (that also has the laundry room) and it was filled with beach supplies and sports equipment to use!
The front desk did deny us towels because we were in a private unit however, I messaged the host and she responded within 10 minutes and fixed the issue. Super helpful!
The only critiques I have were there was no salt and pepper and when we attempted to use the food processor, it was missing parts so we couldn't use it. Also, the outlet in the bathroom didn't work. Overall, it was a beautiful stay. I recommend it!!

We have stayed at a different property in this tower, where we had a great stay, but I didn't realize it was under different management. The location is awesome. The elevators are painfully slow and annoying though. We arrived around 9:30 pm, and our condo didn't have bedding for the pull out bed that we needed. It was not stocked with pool towels either. This property is listed as accommodating 6 people. We only had 4 people and still weren't provided with adequate supplies. It was not convenient to keep running down to the Koko management office to collect what we needed. Overall, I was just disappointed that we didn't have a similar experience to our last stay in a different condo in this building that provided much more in the kitchen, beach chairs, an umbrella, beach bag, cooler, mats, surf board, etc etc. If you're interested in this location, I would not stay in a condo managed by Koko!

Over all the condo was great. The check in progress had a glitch. But miss Dena came through and directly and contacted us with the room code to go in. Location was great.

We loved the Condo, everything was as described. The pool and grills were amazing for my family. The 6 of us - 2 adults and 4 kids had plenty of space.
