This condo at Kihei Alii Kai is a really great option. It has a great view, 3 beds, ac, tons of beach equipment, and in a good, quiet complex. Carole was a pleasure to work with and communication was flawless. Definitely will rent again!

Carole's 2 bedroom condo is decked out with everything you need for an amazing vacation in South Kihei, Maui. There are water and beach toys; books; fully stocked, and then some kitchen; beach chairs and umbrellas; comfortable beds and comfortable furniture. Having a full-size washer and dryer in unit means you don't have to waste precious beach or tourist time washing clothes. You can cook gourmet meals with the appliances provided, her stove even has an "Air Fryer" feature, which you can use to crisp up the chicken skins you can purchase at Foodland right down the road. Carole's condo is located across from one of the best beaches in Kihei, and is only one of three that you enjoy without even renting a vehicle. The mall at the end of the street has restaurants and some of the best gelato on the island. The ABC store is right around the corner and has really improved sonce I was there last. They now have fresh poke bowls, sandwiches, different flavors of musubi, anything your heart could desire that is Hawaiian. Staying at Carole's condo offeres you a stay at one of the most expensive vacation spots in the world for a reasonable cost. 5 star living at a 3 star price. I highly recommended Carole's Kihei Alii Kai condo for a wonderful stay in the mist beautiful island in my world. #mauistrong

We were impressed by the condo layout the moment we stepped in it. Living room and balcony were facing the ocean as pictured, but being there in person was still quite exciting. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the balcony whenever we could. There were beach chairs and umbrellas which made it so convenient for us. Carole was such a great host. She communicated to us before and during our stay, and tried to make our experience there as enjoyable as possible. Thank you Carole! We’ll definitely stay here again when we return.

The property is very cute in person. The loft and bedroom are spacious. Bathroom is next to main bedroom. Place was clean and equipped with plenty of towels and fans. Cookware is a bit dated. The AC cooled the place quickly. Some hiccups during our stay with new parking rules we were not informed about and noisy people at night. The prop manager info provided was no longer in service and contact with island rep and host could have been better, but they were both apologetic and kind about it the next day. Location is very close to the beach, restaurants, and stores. Makes for great walks in the evening. View from balcony is very pretty. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Stay here! This condo is perfect location for walking to shops, food and beaches! Also perfect for driving anywhere your heart desires! Carole, the owner, is very helpful and responsive before and during your stay! We didn't need a thing while there though, her place is well equipped. The view from here condo is spectacular, you will not regret staying here! Try pickle ball on the floor below, we never played before but my family couldn't get enough of it and the laughs we had will not leave my memory anytime soon! Make sure to try Maui Fish & Chips in plaza in front of the condo, it's yummy! And don't miss the sunset at the beach and then stick around and watch the water as you might see Honu (turtles) and even spot a whale like we did! There is so much Ahola here that will not want to leave!

We spent 3 very nice weeks at Kihei Alii key. Our 4th floor condo had great views and was conveniently located to beach, food and shopping. We were able to explore a lot of the island and to enjoy the many beautiful beaches.

Great location! Love that it is in a very walkable area with decent beaches within a 5 min walk from the condo. It’s quiet enough you can leave windows open at night to stay comfortably cool without sacrificing quiet. Condo is as advertised….comfortable and great view. Flooring is well aged but to be expected and the place was clean. Great place for families to stay….TONS of beach toys, snorkel gear, chairs, cooler, and umbrellas. Thank you for providing a great place. Would love to return next time!

We loved how we could walk every evening to the beach to see the sunset. It has a nice view of the beach and you can even see the whales. The only thing we didn't like is the carpet in the bedroom upstairs it looks old and dusty. In the kitchen the pots and pans were old and hard to use.

We have stayed at many different units at Kihei Alii Kai and this was one of the best as the covered lanai and ventalating skylights made all the difference in keeping the unit cool. We would stay here again just for those features. Unit was well appointed so well appointed that there is no cupboard space for your groceries. We ran into a couple of hiccups along the way but Carole was extremely responsive and helpful. Great unit for a family of 4 and Carole was lovely to deal with - thanks again Carole!!

We had a great time here! The place was pretty clean overall, I wished the furnishings would have been more updated though. Everything was in good working condition but we did not like the way the air conditioners were on timers. It took a long time to get it cooled down when we’d get back at night. Other members of our family stayed in other units within the complex and there places were in much better condition. Overall we enjoyed it and the location was very convenient and central in Kihei.

My family of 4, my husband and 2 kids had such a wonderful time that we are planning another Maui trip next year.
It was a breeze communicating with Carole. She responded to all my questions, queries and even gave us a wealth of information, tips, on places around the area for good food and getting essentials from, instructions on check in, self-registering for a parking permit was a breeze (small office by the swimming pool) and keyless entry to the unit was a plus.
The condo unit had everything we needed which made packing a lot easier and lighter for us— beach towels, bath towels, kitchen towels, cooler, umbrella, beach chairs— the condo has it all. The kids particularly loved the loft and the view on the balcony is just beautiful. We maximized our time eating al fresco in the patio while enjoying the view.
The elevator from the parking lot made it easier for us when we had to carry load. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi.
The location of the condo is perfect. Walking distance to Kamaole Beach, good restaurants, ABC store, gelato, shave ice.
We will definitely be back! We had the best time in Maui and this rental made all of us feel right at home. Mahalo, Carole!

This condo was in a great location, with an excellent bakery and cafe a very short walk away. A few more steps and you are on the perfect beach. Everything we needed was available, parking check-in was easy and convenient. The pickleball court was a plus! Hope to stay here again.

Carole, the owner, was a wonderful guide to the area. Her suggestions were very helpful. We truly enjoyed the close proximity to the amazing bakery and the gelato store. Also, the 808 clothing store.
The location of the condo was easy to access and parking available. Easy walk to the beach.
The balcony dining table allowed us to enjoy the sun up and sunset. Lovely.

Our stay was nice. Our family enjoyed going out during the mornings and afternoons to view the ocean/sunset. The beach is very relaxing and only a few minutes away walking. The beach gear provided by Carole was very handy. Downstairs from the apartments are some restaurants and a gift shop which were yummy and good to have close by. During check-in, we had trouble opening the door as the door knob is quite confusing and takes a couple of turns back and forth to open. We called the property owner while we were having trouble with the door knob but she never responded the call back which was a little bit disappointing. Only other things is that the ice in the freezer has a funny flavor and ruins your drink when it starts melting. The washing machine smells bad when you open it after washing clothes. Lastly, although the AC was on, it would take forever to refresh the room and was difficult to sleep in the night without the fans on. Overall, it was a good stay. Just some minor details.

Located mid island. This was a perfect spot for our family to explore the island or relax on the beach across the street. The view from the lanai was amazing. We had our meals on the lanai overlooking Molokini crater and Kaho'olawe island. The condo was comfortable and had all the necessary kitchen items. Beds were comfortable. The beach was a short walk away. Beautiful and relaxing beach. Carole was easy and responsive to communicate with.

The condo was nicely furnished and configured. We used the beach umbrellas and beach chairs almost daily, and it was nice to sit out on the lanai with a view of the ocean. Everything was as it was indicated in the listing and we enjoy d using the provided shuffleboard and pickle ball equipment. We would stay here again.

My family and I (2 adults, 2 young boys) were very pleased with our stay. We liked that it was so close to the beach and loved that there was beach gear available to us. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was a life saver! It had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. Maui was heaven and Carole’s condo was a perfect home base for our explorations! Very comfortable for our family of four with two teens. The kitchen was well stocked and it was so nice to have the beach chairs and umbrellas. Wonderful beaches and restaurants were just a short walk away. We loved the view from the lanai. The pool and hot tub were always clean and peaceful. Kihei is a great central location for exploring the island. We were so sad to leave and hope to be back someday!

Our stay at this condo exceeded our expectations. Carole was absolutely lovely to our family. The views from the lanai were unreal. The condo had everything you could ever need and more. The kids loved having the snorkel gear and we loved having the beach chairs and umbrella. Kamaole Beach Park 1 is much closer than we thought and we loved walking down to the beach each day. The shops and restaurants near this condo were convenient and met our needs all within walking distance. The beds were extremely comfortable and everyone was able to get a great nights sleep after a full day at the pool and beach! We will definitely be back again.

We would return in a heartbeat! Location is so ideal, lots of great places to eat/shop and swim within walking distance. Building is immaculately clean and the condo itself is packed with all the necessities and a lot more +++ beach items such as chairs, small cooler, and toys for the little ones. The beds are very comfortable, plenty of blankets, fans, and pillows to use. The kitchen is full of items, everything we needed to make a nice meal and drinks are available. The condo is easily accessible from the parking lot without having to use the elevator. **there is also a garbage chute from the 4th floor, I appreciated this feature :-) The view from the patio is just gorgeous and brings in a good breeze. Thank you Carole for being a wonderful and generous host. We are appreciative of your place!

This property was terrific. It was clean and well-maintained, with everything we could need including a nice supply of dishes, cookware, towels, and a nice W/D. It has a lovely view both from inside the LR and the lanai. The loft has 2 beds, but we didn't use it at all; we just used the bedroom on the main floor. The overall location is perfect, just a short walk to casual eating spots and the beach. If we return to Maui, we would stay here again.

The property is in a great location in kihei! Close to restaurants and across from the beach. It was beautiful to see sunset every night and wake up to the sunrise outside the front door! We really enjoyed our stay at Kihei Alii Kai. Communication with the host was excellent!
The best parts of the property are Ocean views and If you planning on utilizing the kitchen -you will appreciate how well stocked it is. We also loved comfy beach chairs and brand new umbrella, beach toys for kids and snorkeling gear. Our kids really enjoyed pool on the property and I loved sauna (which looks brand new).
Things to improve for the property :The bathroom is a bit outdated and the bed sheets could be improved.

The property is in a great location and I think this unit has the best view of all of them. Close to parking and grills and sports, but no noise from any of those items. The unit is fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking or DIY activities.
The pictures and descriptions are all very good representations of the unit.
One stand out item was that the host ordered a set of shuffleboard equipment when she heard my son was excited to play. It arrived on the second day of our stay and was a REALLY nice addition to our vacation. Thank you!

This was a great place to stay and very central in Kihei. The view from the lanai for sunrise is amazing, and Carole was a kind and responsive host who provided beach towels, chairs, and even snorkeling gear. Would definitely recommend this place and consider staying here the next time I’m in Maui.

We so enjoyed our stay on Maui and all the comforts of your home. We wished we had been able to spend more time sitting on the lanai and enjoying the view. We saw so many shooting stars in the early morning hours while we enjoyed our morning coffee. I don't think I ever knew there were so many wonderful sights to see.

thoroughly soaked up the sun and surf. What a
lovely trip. We especially appreciated how
thoughtfully the kitchen was stocked with pots,
pans & tools. As avid cooks, we found everything
we needed to try new dishes. All in all this was a

This is a FABULOUS place. The kitchen has been remodeled with a new refrigerator, cabinets,counters and new floor tile. Everything worked perfectly! We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen with pots and pans, cooking tools, etc. The laundry facility was over the top for a vacation condo. Having a front loading washer/dryer unit and laundry supplies was wonderful. The lanai had a beautiful view of the ocean and Molokini. The awning on the lanai was a nice addition. The unit had plenty of beach chairs, mats, towels, toys, umbrellas, etc. All in all, my family had a wonderful stay at this well-equipped Maui condo (more like a home). We will be back and recommend this condo to others. Ignore what you read about this facility in the Ultimate Maui guidebook. The owners of this unit were very welcoming and pleasant.
