This condo was perfect for our family … parents and adult children with mates. The hosts provided for everything imaginable from a perfect kitchen, to lovely bedrooms to beach gear. We were so comfortable and then some. Honestly, this was the best outfitted and decorated condo we have ever rented. Thank you Jaime for being so responsive to my questions during the stay. It’s all now a wonderful memory and much of it thanks to this great condo. 5+ stars!

This place was awesome!!!! The decor…. Such island vibes… the overstocked kitchen of condiments and every cooking item imaginable. The beach gear was so plentiful and even included a wagon. The lanai was beautiful so serene and calm overlooking a host of greenery. Beds were super comfortable. The location of this property was great. Convenience to so much. The gated community was a nice touch. The pool refreshing. The private beach that we were given access to was fabulous and the restaurant was delicious. The hosts were readily available for questions and concerns… I would stay here again!!!! Enjoyed every minute of this island paradise! Mahalo!!

Everything was exactly as advertised. Beautiful setting and very tranquil. Fully stocked with everything you could image and dream for. The Beach pass was a real bonus and we used it often. Would highly recommend this large condo for families. Will return again some day. Thank you.

This house did not disappoint! There was every amenity that we needed, including a wide variety of beach items. The private beach that we had access to was also fantastic, with a great spot for snorkeling. I would highly recommend a stay at this house and we can’t wait to come back!

This place is the ultimate in comfort. It has everything we needed and more. We feel so pampered after staying here. The pool and grounds are the best too. This was our second stay and we will be back for sure.

The town home is gorgeous with lots of room for the entire family. Thought fully decorated. The home is wonderfully equipped with top quality appliances and cook wear. My gourmet wife was in her element in the kitchen, the out door grill / barbecue allowed us to enjoy the Lani while cooking lunch or supper. The owner has provided a large number of pool and ocean toys from pool noodles to snorkel gear, with beach chairs and coolers to take your lunch to the beach. The access to Mauna Lani beach club
was also a huge benefit, great swimming and snorkelling available any time you wish. All in all my wife and I agree possibly the best VRBO we have rented. Yes we will be renting the unit on our next trip to the Big Iskand

This villa is an excellent vacation home for a couple or a whole family! It is beautifully furnished in every room. We appreciated having the primary bedroom on the main floor.
The kitchen is the best set up we have experienced in the past 12 years of vacation rentals. Everything was well maintained and spotlessly clean.

We have stayed at a number of different condos in Hawaii and this unit is by far the best we have ever stayed at. The unit is very nicely furnished and was well supplied with everything the vacationing public needs from toiletries, towels, condiments, lawn chairs and boogies boards.

This spacious home is stunning and is beautifully appointed with taseful decor. It had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The cupboards and laundry room were well stocked and the beds were comfy. We enjoyed all the things provided for our beach excursions. The only disappointments were a few things that were under repair like the jetted tub and the shade in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The microwave over the stove was also under repair, but one was available on the counter top. Overall, it was a great stay.

Our group had a remarkable time at this home. We were two families who vacation together. We were celebrating anniversaries and a high school graduation. The place was perfect! Property is beautiful. We never turned the TV on. We spent mornings on the lanai and had several dinners there as well. The beach club was awesome - get the coconut/lime vodka blend drink! We snorkeling there 3 times (many reef fish and turtles). Enjoyed so much on the Big Island! Robin was great to work with. We had forgotten the beach lanyard in our car and she was overly accommodating and met us in Kona to get as we were at Kona Brewing before our departure. We will be back!

The condo was exactly as described with all the amenities needed. Very well stocked. Super clean and extremely nice. Organized with lots of great features like televisions in each room and bluetooth speakers. The equipment was good and up to par. The outside area and grill is terrific. A couple items were under repair but they still had a microwave. The jets in the bathtub did not work. Some of the items seemed a little substandard but they worked OK. Overall the size and space of the unit was awesome. Would consider returning as it really meet our needs and was fantastic. Very cute and safe gated community with a nice 4 foot deep warm pool and hot tub.

Beautifully appointed, clean and sunny condo. Equipped with everything you could possibly need or want. Enjoyed morning coffee on the cozy patio listening to the birds and watching the golfers. The location is ideal. Easy walking to the beach, the Fairmont and Mauna Lani hotels and nearby grocery store and restaurants. I have already booked for next year!

We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We loved the home and location. Brenda was so great at communicating with us. We had to cancel the trip due to Covid restrictions on the island and Brenda helped us all the way through. We will definitely be back!

Two shout outs for Robin, mgr and Laurie Henry of the complex office. I was having difficulties getting computer to work. She made my day with her help and solution. Loved our stay here.

The best vrbo we have ever stayed at. Our daughter was getting married at the fairmont and it’s just 2 minutes away. Our host/managers didn’t miss a thing on amenities. I wish my own home was this well thought out. Kitchen had it all. The unit was very spacious and so well decorated. It was quiet and serene to relax in the outside lanai overlooking the golf course. We couldn’t have been more pleased with this beautiful and comfortable home. It was amazing and we will be ba back…or maybe move in ;)

This was our fifth visit to the Big Island, but our first stay at Mauna Lani, and we will absolutely return.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Puako condo. The location is perfectly convenient, just a short drive or walk from two beautiful resorts, a quaint shopping plaza and beaches.
The condo itself is fully stocked with all the things a family could need to have a pleasant stay, including all the beach things you can think of - chairs, sand toys, snorkel gear, a wagon! As a family with a baby we also appreciated that they had a few essentials like a pack and play and high chair.
One thing that I don’t think is talked about enough in the reviews is the access to the private Beach Club. There are so many amazing beaches on the Kohala Coast to explore, but we definitely took full advantage of the Beach Club, which is a added bonus to staying at this condo.

This is a beautiful, well designed, luxurious and very well equipped townhouse. The location is considerably more private than other units in the complex. We really appreciated the access to the beach club, and visited most late afternoons for a swim, snorkel, and sunset cocktails (either at the restaurant or on the beach, BYOB style). The Kohala cost is well located to access many areas of the island for adventures, and proximal to major resorts for dining and shops. We really enjoyed the extra touches such as the beach equipment, movies, and personal guidebook. Excellent communication from the property manager. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay here. The home itself was ideal—very nice floor plan for variety of needs. Everything was up to date and clean and nice outdoor space for enjoying a book or a meal. Kitchen was well stocked. Parking very easy and nearby. The grocery store just down the road is surprisingly good, all kinds of specialty items. We loved having access to the pool and the Mauna Lani beach club. The beach club was perfect for our little one just learning to swim—very calm waters. Beautiful snorkeling. Being a quick stroll to the Fairways pool was also great. We enjoyed a couple meals at Mauna Lani resort too, which has undergone a major renovation and is spectacular. Highly recommend a stay here and we hope to be back.
