Beautiful home, perfect for our group of 7 (2 couples and 3 children). Very clean and comfortable, we all loved our time in this property, especially in the evenings when we opened the sliding wall, sat on the back patio and grilled dinner. House was well stocked with everything necessary for cooking, including spices, cooking oils and even pantry staples. Tons of gear for beach excursions, all the snorkeling gear, chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for all ages you could possibly need. Fantastic, quiet neighborhood made it easy to relax and enjoy our vacation. Perfect location just a short walk to groceries, shops and restaurants and just a few minutes drive to the beach. Communication with the owner and the property manager was quick and easy, and they were both more than accommodating to our requests. We loved this property, and will gladly book again for our next trip to this area!

Previously stayed in other units in Villages at Mauna Lani and found that this unit was the best equiped in the Kitchen. The only two issues: the barbeque was adequate but difficult to control the burner temperature and there were some minor issues with cleaning. All in all, we had a great stay for a month and would rent here again.

We spent a week at the property and all the pics were exactly as shown. Beautiful place and very relaxing. Wonderfully outfitted with everything you could need. Walking distance to morning latte and grocery store as well as other shopping. Great places for more exercise/ walking in the area and access to a nice private beach. Private and quiet; and Lisa could not have been more of a pleasure to deal with. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

We had a great time at the condo. Super nice rental, with everything you could want. Lot of space for everyone, SUPER well stocked kitchen, lots of beach gear. The private beach is very nice and has great snorkeling. The shoreline path is lovely for early morning walks. Fun mongoose friends to watch play in the yard. Thanks for a great stay!

High 5 to this most beautiful home! The home is absolutely stunning with all the amenities we needed during our stay. Kids love the pool and so close to all the beautiful beaches. We enjoyed the short stroll to the corner store and shops where the kids enjoyed ice cream. For the adults it was happy hours at Tommy Bahamas! It’s been nine years since we last stayed at Mauna Lani Villages and the complex has been maintained to perfection. Harvey and Louise have a lovely unit stocked with everything you might need from spices to cookware. It is so quiet and peaceful that it seems a shame to go out and see the sights but we did. We’ve traveled extensively but if there was only one place we could vacation, it would be here.

This home exceeded all of my expectations. The property looked incredible in the photos online, and was even better in person.
Unlike rentals homes that come with average quality furniture, appliances, and kitchenware, this home offered top-notch amenities. Everything, from the water faucets to the mattresses, was spectacular.
The property had it all, even items you wouldn't typically find in a rental. We had access to everything from small (and obscure) things such as a lemon zester and melon baller, to large (and helpful) things such as a cooler and beach wagon. We didn't need to purchase anything other than food.
The nearby beach club great. We spent a good amount of time snorkeling, using the equipment provided at the home. We also liked having the Foodland grocery store within walking distance, perfect for picking up odds and ends.
I also appreciated the multiple patios, outdoor barbecue, beach towels and high-speed internet.
I must mention the excellent customer service provided by the owner, Harvey, and his local property manager, Lissette. They were both responsive and accommodating. Lissette went above and beyond by picking up a small grocery order I placed online (as our flight arrived very late), ensuring my kids had snacks that night and a light breakfast the next morning (pre-Costco).
This property and our entire experience deserve a perfect score of 5 out of 5. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a picture perfect vacation.

This location was absolutely amazing. Great location with our favorite snorkeling site right off the beach at the beach club and everything we could possibly need for a day at the beach was in the garage (boogie boards, snorkelers gear, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler...). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook including a rice cooker. And to top it all off the unit is beautifully furnished and so comfortable and the owner and property manager were both so pleasant and helpful. Having coffee on the lanai in the morning was such a treat. I cannot recommend this enough, we'll be back!

Our family enjoyed their stay in this home and would certainly recommend it fully. The location is great and within walking distance to shops and a morning coffee if you're so inclined. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you might need, there are tv's in every bedroom and a large comfortable lanai with both outdoor cooking and eating facilities as well as lounge furniture to enjoy the outdoor air. The additional smaller enclosed lanai is perfect for drying towels and bathing wear outside without being visible from outside the home.
Above all, the management and owner are extremely responsive to any questions or concerns of guests and we were very happy.

Without a doubt, one of the nicest places we have stayed. The kitchen was fantastic- we all love to cook. There was an outdoor kitchen- where we fixed most of our dinners. Close to the pool for the 10 year old. Everyone we met was super friendly. We'll go back anytime we can get away to the Big Island.

This the second time we have stayed at this residence. We had five adults and a 3 yr old and Jan more than enough space. The kitchen is the best supplied place we have ever seen. Spices you have not heard of. We will always stay here when we return. Why would you rent a room at the Fairmont when you can get a three bedroom four bath condo for a lot less. The private beach seals the deal.

This was the perfect place for my family of 6. Thank you Harvey for accommodating us. You were highly responsive to emails and I appreciate that.
1- Location: Conveniently located next to a local grocery store, great walking/running/biking distance to the beach and the condo is a few steps to the pool/fitness centre.
2- Size: I have 4 teenagers and everyone sprawled in their own space and there was no shortage of family meal time spaces - in the dining, and one of two outdoor dining spaces
3- the beds were comfortable and high end
4- the property manager Lissette was helpful with check in/out. The first morning I noticed the coffee maker wasn’t functioning and she was able to replace it within a few days
5- no shortage of beach supplies: beach board, chairs, coolers, umbrellas, snorkel gear (we sanitized first), we were short 1 beach towel as they only had 5 but that’s not a big deal. I’m sure the property manager would have assisted with that but I have family nearby so we were good
6- kitchen had everything you needed if you wanted to make delicious home cooked meals and your own bbq on the lanai was convenient (some condos don’t have this)
7- the condo was Covid friendly- kitchen was clean when we arrived, no left over food, no pillows on the living room sofa
I really can’t say enough and possibly the only thing that I would like to add in summary is— if you’re looking for a home away from home, this is it!

We enjoyed the house very much. The kitchen is well equipped with all kinds of cooking supplies and utensils. The outdoor BBQ is especially nice. We had dinner there almost everyday. The beds have high end furnishings and are very comfortable. The downstairs bedroom was convenient for my elderly parents. The local representative, Lissett was helpful and responsive too. She made the check in really easy. We really appreciate the thoughtfulness of the hosts. We would definitely rent the place again when we return.

The property was very clean and is equipped with everything one would need to enjoy your vacation. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and appliances to create great meals. Beach equipment included beach umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, swim fins, snorkel items, and beach towels. All were in very good condition. The location was near a grocery store, restaurants, and provided easy access to a nice sandy beach with good snorkeling.
The layout was very comfortable with large closets, good beds, up to date flat screen TV's, comfortable showers, and a laundry room with a good washer/dryer.
Lessette, the property manger was very nice and answered questions promptly. The check-in and out was quick and easy.
I can highly recommend staying at this property.

2nd time in Mauna Lani and we gave Villages a try after a fantastic experience in Ka Milo in 2019. We're a family of 4 with 2 children, 19 and 17.
Positives: Well stocked kitchen, best we've experienced - but some cooking items were expired. Very quiet condo with plenty of space. Nice size lanai. Wife loved master bath tub. Good location - easy walk to Food Land. Lots of beach stuff in garage - but beach chairs desperately need replacing.
Negatives: Biggie for us - thermostat locked at 74 made for uncomfortably warm sleeping. Overall cleanliness good - but rugs throughout too warn. Wife cut bottom of her her foot after stepped on shard of glass embedded in kitchen rug. Bedrooms have curtains - but do not have darkening shades.
Manager very responsive when we notified her early in our stay that a shower handle was loose and master toilet was constantly running - but we didn't want to be responsible for any repairs. Owner requires purchase of $59 property damage protection and also has $200 refundable damage deposit (first time we've experienced this in 3 trips to the Big Island).
Overall: Nice place - but we were not as comfortable here as we've been at our other VRBOs.

A really wonderful property that had everything we needed to enjoy a Big Island family vacation. Spacious, clean, and really nicely furnished. There were all of the necessary items for a trip to the beach, anything to help prepare a nice meal on the outside deck, and convenient access to so many nearby places whether for groceries, smoothies, retail, golf, or the wonderful ocean sunsets. Such a memorable stay in a terrific area.

I won’t repeat all of the prior evaluations- All are very accurate. This property is very nice, clean, well located, large, etc. The attentiveness and responsiveness have been amazing. We had some questions and a few minor issues And they responded very quickly and resolved everything very quickly.
We highly recommend this place and will definitely book it again next time we are here!

We had to move our trip from last year but we’re so glad that we did. The perfect place for 4 adults and an 22 month old. It was the most well equipped place we have ever stayed. The condo was large and we could have easily had two more adults. I would give this place six stars if I could. The location is in walking distance of a grocery store and the pool is a two minute walk. The private beach club has great snorkeling. The
property manager was fantastic and made sure that everything ran smoothly. This our 4th trip to Mauna Lani and we will be coming back to this condo.
