Barry and Simon's condo was the perfect stay for my family (my husband and toddler). The place was very quiet and peaceful. The condo was very clean and we loved the well-supplied kitchen! Barry and Simon were gracious hosts, checking in to make sure we settled in well and if we needed anything. And its location is a definite plus - across from the beaches, readiliy accessible to restaurants and cafes. I highly recommend booking with Barry & SImon!

We had a wonderful stay! The condo is very clean, well appointed and fully stocked with everything you may need for your stay. The beach supplies were much appreciated. Having 2 bathrooms was a nice bonus and the bed was comfortable. It was so nice sitting on the lanai in the morning watching the local birds and gecko’s. The location was perfect. Close enough to the nice beaches but a quiet place to come home to and relax in the evenings. Barry/ Simon are great hosts! They were very responsive when we weren’t sure if we should continue with our stay due to the fires. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for an amazing stay in paradise!

We were so glad to have chosen this condo for our 2 week stay in Maui. The location was quiet, and close to the beautiful south beaches. The condo itself was clean, beautifully appointed and better stocked than my own kitchen. The king bed was extremely comfortable, and being on the ground floor, enjoyed coffee on the lanai with visits from the geckos, doves, and snails. The upper pool and sauna were lovely after busy days of beaches and sight seeing. The beach supplies were really appreciated. Most of all Barry/Simon are great communicators and respond quickly and in detail whenever we had a question, especially when our trip took place after the devastating Lahaina fire and we weren’t sure we could still go. We definitely would choose this location again when we return someday.

We had a most enjoyable time at Barry and Simons property. Check in instructions and expectations were clearly communicated. The property was heavenly and peaceful. The bed was most comfortable which was very appreciated. The beach gear was in top notch shape, and kitchen had everything we needed. The patios are beautiful and perfect for early mornings and relaxing after a busy day. The location was excellent, close to everything yet quiet and peaceful. A lot of thought and care was put into the property having everything guests need for a great vacation. We are already planning our next stay. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful place that we would gladly rebook on any return trip. We had a great time and everything was as advertised or better. Barry and Simon were very responsive and provided great suggestions. The beach is a 10 min walk or 2 min drive. Beautiful beach with lifeguards that had turtles everytime we visited. The pool is a 2 min walk and the accompanying hot tub is amazing. No regrets having selected this place for our vacation.

This was our first trip to Maui, and I'm so glad we chose Barry and Simon's condo. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable and so thoughtfully stocked with all of the little extras that made our trip easy and fun. The complex grounds are truly beautiful, and we spent a lot of time at the pool, which was a short two-minute walk from the unit. It was also so nice to have two great beaches within walking distance (or a super quick drive!). The condo is such an ideal location--close to all of the action in Kihei but secluded and serene for quiet and relaxation. Simon and Barry were SO helpful and communicative leading up to and throughout our stay. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family. Thanks for the exceptional hospitality!!!

We have stayed in many (at least 7 different) condos in the Maui Kamaole complex over the years. This unit, F106, was exceptionally well appointed / provisioned and obviously well cared for. Everything was clean and in very good working order. The pride of ownership is evident. The hosts provided pretty much anything you might want ……beach chairs and toys, quality cooking pans and utensils, cleaning supplies, paper towels, dish washing, dishwasher, washer and hand soaps, etc……in quantities that keep you from running to the grocery store in the first week to buy more. The pantry was also well stocked with oils, spices, hot sauce and more. All very much appreciated. We would certainly stay here again.

We enjoyed staying at Simon and Barry's condo a ton. It was in a great location, close to some really great snorkeling spots and food options. The entire island is well accessible and popular things like the road to Hana, Lahaina, and other things aren't too far at all. The unit itself is very comfortable and well-equipped if you want to spend more time in as well. We enjoyed a lot of birdwatching and cozy board games inside and on the lanai.

We truly appreciated our time in this condo. The aesthetics for a calm and relaxing space were wonderful with a lanai on each end of the hallway for a nice breeze with a different atmosphere. The white tile floor and gray-white walls with tasteful art and furniture welcomed us. The bathrooms are beautiful and spa like. The kitchen is well equipped including a drip and pod coffee maker. We appreciated the organization and attention to detail with instructions and amenities. It was very private with a short walk to both pools and barbeque. We highly recommend the Maui Kamaole condo complex including THIS unit and hope to be back again.

My family of four, two adults and two kids had a place to call home in Paradise after spending time out and about exploring what nature had to offer. Our only hiccup was figuring out the WIFI, which was resolved by calling the office staff. They sent someone over right away and helped us to figure out the correct network and password. Simon and Barry, the hosts were also very communicative and supportive. They have lovely attention to details for the amenities from the soft towels and well-equipped kitchen to the beach gear and climate control. We all felt safe and comfortable on the beautiful property. We miss Maui already.

An excellent accommodation for our group of 3 adults! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. For reasons below, this is a highly recommended accommodation because of its location, facilities and amenities that were provided.
The condo is in walkable distance to a beach which many locals and guests would go to watch the sunset. The condo community is within a short driving distance from many restaurants, markets and grocery stores. But distanced enough to enjoy a quiet evening after sunset. During our stay, other guests respected the noise curfew which we appreciated.
The condo was well stocked and equipped with amenities and basic condiments for a beach day or a night in to cook dinner or brew a morning coffee. All we needed to bring apart from our luggage was groceries as there was a large fridge/freezer to fill!
We rented a car for the duration our stay and with the allocated parking, we were able to easily go out for day trips and quickly step out for groceries and return with the ease of mind that we always had a place to park.
Lastly, we were very comfortable with 2 bathrooms to spread out across and a comfortable king bed and a large sofa bed with extra bedding available in the cupboards if needed.
Not a negative but coming from Australia, we found the bedroom and main living/dining area quite dark once the sun had set. There were no ceiling lights to brighten these areas we wanted to gather with only lamps on the edges of the rooms that created atmospheric lighting.
Looking forward to coming back with the rest of our family! Thank you to Barry and Simon for sharing your condo with us to make our first trip so comfortable and memorable!

My family love staying in this awesome condo while in Maui! The fully stocked kitchen makes storing leftovers & reheating so convenient. Love having breakfast in the patio & enjoying the fresh morning air. Condo also has everything (towels, beach chairs, beach toys, etc) we need to head to the beach down the street. We were also able to do our laundry so we went home with clean clothes without worrying about doing laundry. Thank you to Barry & Simon for letting us stay at your beautiful condo!!

We stayed 4 nights at Barry and Simon's condo and had a great time! Our friend stayed one night on the pull-out sofa and we all had plenty of space and were comfortable. The condo was clean, cool, and well stocked. We enjoyed spending time on both lanais and hanging out at the pool. The location was great, allowing us to take full advantage of the many beaches in the area. Barry and Simon were communicative and helpful. They clearly care about their property! Our stay at Maui Kamaole was wonderful. On arrival, the condo was ready for our two week stay. Nothing was needed as the supply of Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrellas and ice chests were waiting for us to have great days at the beach. We also spent time in the pool and hot tub with lovely gardens all around. We loved being greeted every morning by the local red cardinals and family on the lanai while having breakfast. Thank you, Barry & Simon for us to feel at home in such a beautiful setting.

We have family of 4, we love the pool and location, close to everything! You won’t find such big 1000+ sqft comfortable home like Berry’s. Walk to beach! And shopping dinning spots! Berry has beach chairs, snorkeling gears for you. Not only that, he stocked after burn Aloe lotion, sun blocks, bugs spray and flip flops! We enjoyed bedroom lanai when kids are still sleeping. We will definitely recommend to our friends and stay the same place for next visit!

We had a wondful expeirience at this property. The condo had everything we could need for a great Maui vacation and more. We travelled with several friends staying in different locations nearby and all proclaimed we had the best condo of the bunch. We expected to rent beach gear, but as soon as we arrived we learned it wasn't necessary. Plenty tucked away in the hall closet!
Barry and Simon were excellent hosts who answered all messages promptly before, during, and after our stay. It felt like we were staying at the home of a friend!
This was my family's first VRBO experience. I am excited to try another, but it will be hard for another experieince as good as this one.

During these trying pandemic times, walking into a vacation stay and feeling so immediately aware that caring and thorough efforts have been made to provide a sanitized environment, I felt at ease and able to enjoy my vacation without any interruption and stress of having to accommodate for inadequate preparation or care given the very real concerns of the pandemic.
Vacationing on Maui? This should be your choice—you will not regret it and you will thank me for the recommendation. This place is the refuge you are looking for if you want a quiet, relaxing, clean, super well-appointed, incredibly comfortable, home away from home in paradise.
Barry and Simon have an absolutely beautiful second home. They have done a wonderful job of making their condo incredibly well-appointed in terms of kitchen needs, bedroom and bathroom supplies, en-suite laundry needs, beach supplies and toys, Maui guidebooks and other books, TV/movie-with sound bar/music electronics, and not one, but two lanais with native plantings and patio table and chairs. The bed is (hallelujah!) very comfy; the bathroom, linens and grooming supplies--all lovely and thoughtfully supplied. The master shower is beautifully tiled, pebble-floored, and offers a large rain showerhead, and a separate personal showerhead. There is plenty of space to store and hang your clothing—and it is all so well maintained and clean, you will feel more than comfortable acting as if you were in your own home.
And, well, after your long trip, no need to worry about your morning coffee needs—they have a reusable coffee filter and have provided coffee. Barry and Simon also have provided many kitchen spices and other basic kitchen and picnic needs (ice packs, reusable coolers and much more). I am an avid snorkeler, so I brought my prescription mask and snorkel, but they have provided masks and snorkels as well as many other beach toys and accoutrements. They’ve thought of everything to make for a wonderful and easy stay, and Barry made sure everything went well throughout the process and was immediately responsive to messages. I felt well respected, and indeed, spoiled—even befriended. Absolutely beautiful experience.
I loved my stay here at Barry’s and Simon’s condo. If I had any legitimate claim of squatter’s rights ( ;) ), I’d be claiming them in a heartbeat!

Barry's condo is above and beyond what our expectations were on arrival. It's located perfectly in the heart of Kihei, with restaurants and the beach just a short walk away (even possible with a baby!) The Maui Kamaole is the most gorgeous condo complex in the region, so just the walk down from the condo to the beach is gorgeous. The condo itself is amazing - larger than the photos make it seem, super clean, and just the perfect vintage rattan decor that makes it feel like you're in your own Hawaiian home. They have everything you need and more to make this a comfortable stay, from a hair dryer, clothes washer, beach chairs, makeup towels, and more. I can't say enough nice things about the space, but I can say more nice things about Barry. He is kind, thoughtful, and quick in his communication. Although the management company was a bit confusing, Barry always helped out and was quick to make sure we were able to have the correct information. We can't wait to come back and hope that this place is available for us to stay!

My wife and I like to stay in South Kihei when we visit Maui. It's a bit less busy and quieter than in the heart of Kihei. While this condo doesn't have an ocean view, it has a nice lanai and is well appointed. It also has a small outdoor area off of the bedroom. The owners, Barry and Simon from Sacramento, are very nice. We would stay here again.

Beautifully decorated, well stocked with common kitchen items and beach equipment. Two Lanai’s clearly a plus. Spacious one bedroom, keyless entry a definite plus with strong A/C and internet service. The owners are great to work with and to contact as the management was nowhere to be found while leaving multiple calls and voice mails. Once in the room nothing was negative about our stay. I highly recommend renting from Barry and Simon. We definitely will be back.
