We had a great time at this condo. Perfectly located near great beaches and tons of fun beach equipment. We arrived a little early and check in was seamless. Plenty of room for kids and awesome lanai for playing in grass.

This (we understand rare) ground floor unit was perfect for our family including two small children. Two reserved parkings spots right in front were great. The unit was very clean and very well appointed and stocked. The lanai closet contained beach chairs, boogie boards, two beach umbrellas, beach toys, beach mats, and even a child flotation device.
Both the indoor and outdoor space felt bigger and better than the photos in the listing were able to convey. The contained "backyard" was very well maintained and sizeable enough to let the kids run around without concern. You could see the sunset form the lanais. The complex overall was also very well maintained - you can tell they run a tight ship. For example, the communal bbq's were immaculate.
Jenny was extremely responsive and great to deal with, which was invaluable when our airline cancelled our flights about two months prior to our trip.
Overall just very happy with this property and definitely hope to be back some day!

This 1st floor condo with an ocean view and 5 min. walk to the sand was a hit with this family! Large bedrooms and great spaces ~ all with individually controlled air conditioning met everyone's personal tastes. The pool was large and a concierge there made us feel cared for. Having tennis/pickleball, foosball and ping pong available was an added treat. The option of renting a wagon with boogie boards, snorkels, chairs, etc. was a great option. The condo itself had an abundance of chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, etc. that we were most grateful for. Plenty of supplies were in place to get us started, and the kitchen appliances, plates, pots/pans were the best we have ever experienced. We will be booking this condo again for sure ~ the Kihei location was fabulous!

Jenny is very responsive and a wonderful host. The place was amazing and was everything we needed. The location was absolutely perfect. Kamaole beach has one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen and it's literally less than a 5 min walk from the door or back porch.

This is our second stay at Kamaole sands and we love this property so much. It’s across the street from the beach and overall has a family friendly vibe.
Our unit was on the first floor with easy access to walk to the beach, but we had several issues with our access code not working for the front door and were not provided with enough dishwashing pods, laundry pods, paper towels, dish soap or toilet paper. We were there for 7 nights and I would have expected that we had enough for our stay. There were also lots of ants of everywhere which we had not experienced previously.
There are some plumbing/draining issues. The bathroom sink wasn’t draining well and the toilet ran a lot.
There were minimal condiments available. Not sure if that a per unit thing, but we had to buy everything you could think of. So prepare to buy olive oil, butter, ketchup etc. there is plenty of foil and Saran Wrap, but we had to get a lot.
I hope this is helpful for the next guest.
Overall it was great being where we were and enjoyed our vacation. We will be back soon!

We loved our stay! The condo was clean and offered everything you could possibly want for a day at the beach. We had a group of 7 and never felt crowded in the condo. The grounds are amazing! The pool and hot tubs and grills were awesome! We would stay again in a heartbeat.

We loved the condo. The condo is far more spacious than how it appears in the photos, and having the lawn area was a great bonus. Our favourite beaches were right across the street, and it was a quick walk over to watch the sunset.
The condo was well stocked with essentials including beach items (chairs, towels, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards and toys).
We would recommend this place to our friends.

We had 7 people in our group and the condo was roomy enough to be comfortable. The beach is close and there were beach chairs and umbrellas in the storage area which was very nice. We had a lovely stay.

Our group of six adults enjoyed our stay. This unit provided everything we needed. The kitchen functioned well as we made breakfast and some lunches and dinners. We knew the dryer issues already but managed fine with rack drying. The washing machine needed replacing just when we arrived but this was done quickly and efficiently. The AC units were very quiet and efficient although the room with the bunkbed had a noisy ?pump that went on and off. Jenny the owner responded very quickly to any messages I sent. Thanks Jenny for a great stay!

Might be the smoothest check in and check outs I've experienced. Jenny got back with all questions quickly. Was a treat to enjoy our morning coffee on the patios with green grass, beautiful flowers & friendly chickens all while hearing & seeing the ocean. An easy walk to the ocean with nightly sunset in the park. We were able to wind down at night using the nice sized kitchen or outdoor grills then heading to the great pool space, two hot tubs, all very kid friendly. Plenty of space for the six of us without even pulling out the trundle. Comfy bed and pillows! Or we were just wiped out from the days adventures :)

Great location across from our favorite beach in Kehei, Kam III. Condo was more than adequate size for four adults and two teen boys. Had all the beach gear we needed, minus snorkels. But, Boss Frogs was only two blocks away.
We will totally try staying here again, when we travel with friends & family.

Very functional unit for our family. Appreciate the tile flooring and ceiling fans. Love the green space off the lanai. Very convenient access to the beach. Wonderful assortment of beach equipment. The owner was very accessible for any questions or concerns. Wonderful trip!

We just got back from our 10 day vacation. This unit was perfect for our family of 7. Great location - ground level made for easy loading/unloading and quick access to the beach which was perfect for our daily sunset walks. Having the outdoor access from the lanai was super handy. Pool/games area was great and grounds were beautiful.
Inside had everything we needed - A/C worked great and was very welcome in the August heat! The dryer wasn’t great but we knew that from reading other reviews - we managed this problem by hanging wet clothes on the drying rack outside and then finishing them off in the dryer.
The lanai closet was stocked with everything we needed for the beach. Several chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, coolers and other beach toys.
One very minor thing was that we could’ve used a couple more toilet paper rolls, dishwasher pods and washing machine pods for our large family to last the whole 10 days. But otherwise we had no complaints and would be happy to stay here again!

The unit has three bedrooms and close to beach and shopping, the complex has a great pool and grounds. The unit itself is clean and functional does what you need it to do, not luxurious but very nice for a family vacation. We'd stay again.

We have stayed at several condos in Kamaole Sands. This is our second stay in this unit and our favorite. The location is the best. Easy access to the parking spot just steps from the door. 400 feet from the condo to one of the best beach/parks in Kihei. The back patios and lawn area just off the living room and one of the bedrooms was a great place for the kids to play. Plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, an ice chest, and a beach umbrella were in the outside closet. There were a total of 8 of us (six adults and 2 small children) and there were plenty of pots and pans, dishes and silverware for our group. The condo during our stay had two pack-n-plays that were great for the one year old to sleep in. We really appreciated having separate air conditioning units in each room. Jenny, the owner, was a true pleasure to work with. We always got a quick response from Jenny whenever we sent a message and she provided all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and access to the condo. Overall we found the condo to be well stocked and a comfortable, relaxing place to stay.

My 2 boys and I came to stay for a week Feb-March 2022. The beach is just across the street and down a small hill. It’s very rocky right here for the kids but a great chance to see critters. Great central location but not really convenient restaurants to just walk to that we saw. The pool is a standard hotel type pool, it was fine for when the kids didn’t want the sand. Jenny is great, her communication was always quick and helpful.

The location of this property is perfect. I even appreciated the partial view through the parking lot to the beach. Kitchen is well-appointed. Bathrooms are very old, you cannot really see that in pictures. I would stay again.

Condo is located in the best spot!! Whales can be spotted from the lanai’s, it’s wonderful. It’s located just steps from the beach and a very short walk to shops and restaurants. Condo was well stocked and lots of room for sleeping. This is our second time staying at this condo and we love it. It could use some small updates like a fresh coat of paint and some trim/caulking work. But of her then that it’s great. The owner responds quickly and is very kind and helpful.

Great location, so close to the beach great pool and really hot jacuzzi(awesome). It was very easy to contact owner. Dryer had a lot of problems. Tv was broken in one of the rooms. One of the rooms was a little misleading it said bunk beds And also listed double bed but it was actually referring to the size of one of the bunk beds. Other than that this was an amazing place and def recommend it!

The location is great! But if you have a lot of people, there is not many comfortable places to sit in the living room area. The pull-out bed is not comfortable, so if staying for a long time, give the pull-out bed to a hard sleeper. Owner responded very quickly to every concern and request.

Ground floor makes a difference. Would recommend staying here. Bathrooms could use updating and more seating in living room for larger party. My only complaint is the dryer is 110v and not 220v so it does not dry towels and made doing laundry impossible and they don’t allow you to hang towels on the patio. There is room to put the right size and an outlet for it. So I would suggest owner upgrade. The view was better than the picture. The complex has nice pool and hot tub and workout room and very clean and multiple grills.
