I have stayed in this unit multiple times. It’s always a great stay. The condo has everything needed for comfort and convenience. It’s also close to stores, restaurants, and the beach. The owners are wonderful to work with. The grounds are beautiful. I can’t give this unit enough stars to show my appreciation.

This unit is in a great location and lovely complex. The main floor entrance makes it easily accessible. The communication was easy and great! A couple things were not up to standard as far as cleanliness.

This is an amazing property to stay at. Me and our wife have just got back from Hawaii and spent our first week here. It is one of the best condos we have stayed at. Fantastic facilities, you open your patio doors to a beautiful communal garden reach morning. The pool area is amazing and open late, and the complex is full of good people, we met some great people and made some friends there. The beautiful beach is less than a minute walk away, we watched the sunset a few nights. There is also a supermarket about 2 minute walk away. A few bars and restaurants nearby and also a brewery about 30 minutes walk away. Parking is easy and plenty of it, we mostly parked on the street in the end right outside the front door

What can I say? I had another great stay at Nancy and John’s condo. It’s close to a beach, which is great to watch the sunset, the grocery store is around the corner, just in case you need any last minute items, there are restaurants within walking distance, and the unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I hate to leave, but I’ll be back again in September. Aloha and mahalo, Nancy and John! 🏝️☀️❤️

Aloha! Guys, if you are looking for a great vacation spot then Kihei Garden Estates is the place for you! The unit is much better than in the photo, cute and comfortable. You will find everything you need. Just a small wish for the owner to get a large salad bowl and vegetable grater. The property around is amazingly beautiful and well maintained. Grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, souvenir market, post office and even food trucks are within walking distance, you will enjoy walking around. The beach is pretty deserted and quiet, no one will disturb you. And every evening on the shore there is a wonderful show of turtles! When you get to the beach from Lipoa Street, turn right and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the sign about turtles. They arrive on the shore shortly before sunset, somewhere around 5:30 pm, and if you wait patiently until dark, then there will be a lot of them on the shore. Bring chairs or towels with you to sit comfortably. Just remember that you can not touch the turtles and do not come close to them! Unfortunately, communication with the manager was completely absent, no one answered the phone call. We spoke directly with the owner via email and she responded right away and was very helpful. And as I said, Kihei Garden Estates is still our favorite vacation spot and next time we will return only here.

This was our second time in Nancys condo and it was perfect again. Clean and spacious with a nice lanai. Well equipped, close to the beach, to restaurants and stores - we loved it and hope to come back again.

Overall this was a nice stay and we would stay again. Grocery and restaurant are close and beach access is right down the street. We didn't use the pool, but the grill area was very nice. Coin laundry access was easy and a plus. The property was clean and comfortable, though we spent most of our time exploring the wonders of Maui! My only complaint would be a strong chemical smell in the living area, perhaps something recently painted or new furniture?

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was fabulous. The grounds were kept groomed. The pool and hot tub were great. Used the BBQ almost every night. Everyone was so nice. The only down side was not air conditioning in this unit. At night the condo would get a bit stuffy as there was no breeze when we were staying but that was minor. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Maui.

I can't say enough about this condo. We stayed for a month. The condo was clean and just as described. It appears small when first entering but there are so many organizers and cabinets for alot of storage. The bed was very comfortable. The complex is well kept. May days we had the pool almost to ourselves. Beach so close by. Close to many restaurants and also a grocery store. Make sure you walk to the beach for sunset and stroll down to the left to see the turtles that come up on the beach. Just keep your distance..... I would love to come back again.

I love the location, the grounds are beautiful, I feel extremely safe, and the condo itself is super cute. Nancy is a wonderful host and communication with her is always easy. I hate to give this condo such a great review for fear that people will read this and it will be booked solid, and not available next time I visit. But, I can’t help myself. This condo was so cute!! The location is perfect…near a grocery store and many restaurants. You couldn’t get any closer to the beach unless you pitched a tent right there on the sand. The unit had everything I needed to make for a great stay, and the bed was extra comfy and very appreciate at the end of a long day of sand and sun. My week here absolutely flew by, and I can wait to visit again very soon. I’ve already checked the calendar to see if this unit will fit my schedule for another trip. Aloha…until next time. 🌺

The condo is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and a couple of blocks from the beach. Easy to park on street on in the parking lot. It has A/C but we just used the ceiling fans and flow through breezes. Living area is nice, big, with comfortable furniture. Kitchen well equipped. Easy to fall asleep on slightly
soft bed. Lanai is relaxing, with shared pool and jacuzzi.
There was only one set of towels, but a call to Lucy had 2 people over in a few minutes with towels, more shampoo, and soap. Talked with Lucy when we checked out and had a nice conversation.
Thanks to Nancy for the great accomodations and manager Lucy for supplying stuff.

Everything was a 5 out of 5 on this property. Owners were very responsive.
Only slight negative was the stock of kitchen skillets, cooking utensils. Maybe update with better quality.
But all basics were covered. GREAT stay....always out exploring Maui so not here much except dinner and sleep.
Great workout gym walking distance across the main street.

Great location close to all amenities. The unit is a good sized 1 bedroom. The air conditioner is not that good, but fans made stay comfortable. The bathroom shower has mould. We enjoyed our stay as the location was perfect.

The only down side to the property is the lack of sound proofing in the ceiling! The people above us had children who were running most of the time when they were in the unit! Even the adults footsteps were loud, like they were "marching"! We didn't say anything since we didn't want to ruin their vacation, nights were better and they were gone quite a bit on days we were in the unit! Over all we enjoyed our 8 day stay! I gave a 4 for cleanliness since the carpet in the living room could use a good shampooing, however the rest of the unit was very clean! The queen bed was nice, but we're used to a king, just not enough space for that! We would stay here again if we can't get weeks at our home resort!

Location was great! Close to the beach and grocery store. The pool was really nice as well. There were small ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Other than that, the place was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

We really loved staying here! Place was perfect only really suggestion to make this even more perfect or a WOW factor would be to have fins or an umbrella. Left a bottle of champagne in the fridge for the new year. GREAT STAY!!!

The property is quite literally a few steps from the beach and the city of Kihei is the perfect location for visiting Maui-- lot's of shops and cafes and central on the island. The place is a bit run down, and was a bit surprised to see so many ant traps with quite a few small insects crawling around (and the occasional lizard). I know this is slightly expected for the tropical climate but still worth noting. The check in process was easy and plenty of parking nearby. Overall decent place for the price if you're looking for somewhere to sleep when you're out most of the day.

I really enjoyed the property. Convenient to the beach and market. The church was right around the corner. The only negative thing I would say is that the table tops were not clean. When I wiped the coffee table and kitchen counter, the paper towel was filled with a lot of dust.
Overall, it was a relaxing stay and convenient.

This spot in kehei is amazing. It’s perfectly located to explore all sides of the island and a straight forward ride from the airport. We spent the majority of our time out exploring the road to Hana, hiking and snorkeling. Coming back to a clean place right across from the ocean was amazing. We went out on the beach a little after sunset and saw 2 sea turtles. Kehei itself has some good food options. The grocery store is a short 5 minute walk/ 1 minute car ride from the apartment. We searched for hours and hours for the perfect place. Search no more. This is the spot.

This was a great location near what we thought was the best swimming and snorkeling beach, Ulua, and you can walk a few steps out the back patio door to the pool. We also had the most delicious fresh salads at an organic restaurant within walking distance. The downside was the seating in the living room. We picked this place because of what looked like comfortable seating. We were disappointed to find all of the cushions sank in and were anything but comfortable. Very disappointing when we wanted to relax after a day at the beach. The bed however had two foam toppers. That made it far too soft for us (bad for my back) so we took off the second layer, a somewhat awkward process to remove and put somewhere, but the bed was fine after that. It was a little warm in the bedroom but leaving the bedroom door open at night and using the fans helped.

Everything needed was available: kitchen items, beach/trip items (beach chairs & umbrella, beach towels, even a small cooler!). Local beach and grocery (Times) both 3/4 block away.
Never heard people above except when on stairs.
Rolled down patio shade in the morning and closed up the condo while gone, then opened to breeze when returned - never needed the A/C (we are from hot Florida).
Queen bed very comfortable (memory foam topper?); ran ceiling fan at night. Large plant outside window allowed feeling confidential w/ window open.
Table on patio or one inside for meals. Enjoyed our week stay very much!

We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely street level condo. The bed was comfortable and there's plenty of storage space. The pool is a few strides from the back patio--which, btw, is a nice place to have coffee in the morning. The beach is a very short walk away. The owners provided beach chairs and a cooler. Along with the air conditioning, there are ceiling and floor fans. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to prepare home cooked meals. Though our stay was short (4 nights), this condo would be great for an extended stay. The only recommendation I have for the owner is to replace the very tired shower stall and shower head. The walls are stained from age and set in mildew did not make for a comfortable shower experience. The shower did not meet the high standards of the rest of the condo. I also would recommend not leaving any crumbs on the counters--those darned pinhead sized ants come out of nowhere if any water or crumbs are left on the kitchen counter. I bought plastic bins to keep the critters at bay.

Arrived late in the evening the first night and just went to bed. Delighted to sleep soundly with windows open to a quiet night and early morning. A short walk through the courtyard to a neighborhood grocery store made breakfast and lunch easy as we set about to familiarize ourselves with the new surroundings. Loved not having to drive the first day, just a short walk to the beach, grocer, snorkel rentals, post office and even church on Sunday.
The courtyard, pool, outdoor community kitchen and baroque was secure, spotless and perfect for stress free vacation.....which is exactly what we looked for and got.
Just the two of us made the condo easy to keep, spread out, enjoy watching the baseball playoff games and reading in the comfort of the lanai (patio).
Recommendations from the owner were spot on regarding prime beach and snorkeling locations, Saturday farmers market, restaurant and shopping and sightseeing drives. Our goal was not a jam packed week but rather a simply mellow retreat. This property was ideal and perfectly located for just that.
Meeting Lucy, the caretaker, was an extra bonus and we look forward to returning again.

This condo is really really well located. You have a small market place close to the unit reachable by feet (2min) where you can find a grocery store to purchase anything you need to cook a perfect dinner!!!
The unit is pretty quiet and comfortable. You have the WiFi, a TV, a DVD player, a totally equipped kitchen, 2 boogie boards (but one is damaged), 2 ice box, a beach umbrella,...
Plus, you are only at 15min drive from the lots of beautiful beaches for swimming, snorkeling, paddleling, kayaking.
John and his wife Nancy are always available when needed. They answer very quickly to your questions and will help you in any matter/ways.
I really recommend this condo.

This was my first time to Maui and I rented this one bedroom condo next to the beach. I immediately felt comfortable, like a home away from home. Well maintained, clean and with everything you could need. Beach was about 1/2 block away and a short walk. I would definately recommend this condo and will book it again myself. Price is excellent another great reason to book this condo. Laundry room next to condo also. Quiet part of the complex and near the pool. Kathy

The place has everything you need..i really enjoyed the pool area with its many grills fridge abd so forth...the wifi us fast cable has alot of channels and its located in a quiet area which is good because im a light sleeper...nice owner..i have to mail her the keys because i forgot to leave them..oops!

We had a great time.
Location: Condo is on the first floor, has a nice little patio with chairs and table. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside. Patio faces the lawn, so we just let our children roam free and play outside whenever they wanted. Condo is like a 100 meters from the beach, so you can literally walk there barefoot. Beach is nice, quiet and clean, water is shallow which is good for young kids. Condo is also few steps away from large grocery store, bunch or eateries and a lovely ice-cream place (Ono Gelato -- highly recommended!). You can walk everywhere.
Inside: Inside the condo we had everything that we needed -- wireless internet, queen bed (kids took it) in the bedroom, pullout bed in the living room (we ended up just placing the mattress on the floor directly every night, because the bed itself was not very comfortable for us). Kitchen is well equipped, all appliances work well.
All in all, it is a convenient, well equipped and maintained condo. We liked it!

Clean, comfortable, quiet, a two or less minute walk away from the beach to watch sunset AND a mango tree with fruit dropping into your arms each morning...we loved our stay here. The location is walking distance to a grocery store, restaurant and other amenities and a short drive to a wide assortment of great snorkel beaches with turtles and more fish than we could ever name (we’re new to snorkeling and felt comfortable at each beach we visited). Kihei’s location, between the two large volcanoes that make up the island, is convenient for exploring each of Maui’s “sides”. One day for West Maui and one day or more for Haleakala. Coming back to a well-stocked kitchen (spices, utensils, pans and all the dishes you’d need) a quiet shady lanai and even a pool for a late night swim was perfect for us. Thank you for having such a nice place at an affordable rate.

My husband and I enjoyed our quiet, relaxing stay at the condo. It was super clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. You could take your pick - the swimming pool or short walk to the beach. The wireless internet was a necessity so was very handy. I would highly recommend this. The only problem was that the time went by too quickly and we didn't want to leave. Great price for an nice place. We will be back!

My husband and I had an incredible stay. Having come from a rental on Oahu, we were very impressed with what we found here. The kitchen had more than enough of everything, even spices. The owner left a comprehensive guide to the area and several books on Maui and hiking. After spending our days hiking and then in the sun, it was nice to not have to think about where to go: we just looked at one of the recommendations. The unit is clean, well maintained and we even weathered the tsunami while we were there. It certainly was a home away from home. We will be back.

We had a great stay overall. There were some problems with the cable tv and WiFi in the unit when we arrived but Rob, the property manager, has acted swiftly and has gone to great lengths to resolve the matter as soon as possible, even though this was not entirely within his control. We were very impressed by that and by his overall focus on customer service and satisfaction.
The property is in a great location in a very quiet complex and within very short proximity (i.e. few minutes walk) to both the beach and all basic services such as supermarket, pharmacy, major shopping centre and post office. The property was in pristine condition. It was clean and all appliances were working well. Other then the issue with the Cable TV and Wifi, we have experienced no maintenance issues whatsoever.
I will definitely be coming back again!
