My family had a great stay here. It was clean, Jim was very responsive to any questions, and a very well-cared for place. The new sleep number bed and other remodeling was a nice touch as well. The location is perfect with no roads to cross to the beach, and was central to everything we wanted to do on Maui

The condo is very well maintained, clean, the owner was very attentive, flexible, very approchable and he helped us a lot to enhance our trip, since we experienced some challenges facing the fires in West Maui / Lahaina, and had to replan several times our travelling, activities and schedule.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend this condo to anyone. Many thanks again to our host.

This was a great condo for our family of 4. It was in a convenient location and had everything we needed to have a good time. The pool area was nice and clean and the beach was steps away. Communication with James, the owner, was great and all instructions for Wi-Fi, etc that were left were easy to follow. We also appreciated how easy and how little there was to do to check out.
Thanks for helping to make our first trip to Maui a great one. We will be back!!

This was the perfect beachfront condo for our family of 5. The owners provided plenty of communication so there were no questions. The property was situated on the beach and we were able to see sea turtles every evening and morning. The location was close to shopping and was easy to get to all other parts of the island. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo is perfect for a family to have a relaxing and affordable holiday in Maui. We were 5: 2 adults, 2 children aged 6 & 9 and a grandparent. The size of the place is perfect with 2 bathrooms adding to the overall comfort.
The view from the lanai is heavenly at any time of the day with the sea, pool and mountain in the background. Also nice to wake up to the silhouettes of palm trees and the sound of the waves against the shore.
The condo is so well kitted out. There are lots of towels, bath-mats and also good quality beach towels which we appreciated. There are beach chairs and umbrellas which we found essential! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, plates and cutlery: enough for the day, not always something you find in rental places. You can cater for any meal you want which gave us flexibility as a family and helped to control our costs. We had no problem making our Christmas dinner! There are also ample dishwashing products, soaps, toilet roll and laundry detergent. The washer / dryer is very useful with a young family and enables you to pack much less!
The complex is well maintained and always spotless. The pool is cleaned daily as are the common outdoor grills for guests to use. The beach is literally steps away and the resident turtles in the swim area are fun to visit. Parking was never an issue in the car park.
The location is perfect and very easy access to all parts of the island. We thought the best beaches were in the Kihei and South Maui area, so very close!
I think Jim and Diane and have made this place very relaxing and comfortable for families to enjoy. It's not fussy but it is completely functional. We found the beds to be comfortable, contrary to a few of the earlier reviews that I have read. Jim (owner) and Deb (local manager) are very responsive and dealt with a small issue we had immediately.
I would not hesitate to recommend this condo for a holiday on Maui and would certainly consider staying here again if we visit Maui in the future.

We stayed here for 10 nights in October and couldn't be happier with where we ended up. It was me, my husband, my mom, and my 2 kids, 3.5 year old and under 1.
If you have young kids this is a great place. The beach is so amazing for them! It was honestly our favourite beach to enjoy with the kids and we drove to quite a few others. We also saw turtles on the beach or from our lanai everyday.
I would say the pictures they have on here don't come close to justifying how spectacular the view is and how nice the place is. Yes it is a bit dated, but with young kids we weren't looking for anything fancy. The unit is very functional and had everything we needed: great view, ac, laundry in suite, kid friendly, and great beach/pool.
We made use of the playpen and the booster chair. The beach chairs and cooler were a nice touch. We used the sand toys, it was nice we didn't have to purchase them. There were lots of beach towels as well.
What you should know:
-there are no curtains in the spare bedroom and very light curtains in the master. No black out curtains here. We brought a portable curtain for the spare bedroom and we brought a black twin fitted sheet to put over the playpen for the baby in the master bedroom. This worked for us. There's no way we could have managed either room without those items
-we rented a mattress for the playpen.
-the parking spaces in the parking lot are very small. You'll get used to it but I would keep that in mind when selecting your rental vehicle.
-head to the beach in the morning or evening to see the Turtles!
Safeway is only 5 minutes away and we found the location of the property worked great for our family.
We absolutely loved the unit and would 1000% come back but constructive feedback would be:
-table the seats 6 would he nice, chairs didn't work super well for kids (cushions didn't stay on) but again just something we noticed
-light blocking curtains in bedrooms would be nice

The condo is centrally located, making trips to different areas overall shorter driving distances. Upon our arrival the condo had everything necessary in the kitchen and bathrooms. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was wonderful as well. We noticed the beach area was a great place for families with small children.
This unit is very 70s to 80s and although clean, it is a bit worn. The queen bed/bedroom mattress is uncomfortable with a dip toward the middle and one rolls to the center of the mattress. The second bedroom, with the two single beds, is more appropriate for young children. The mattresses are a bit too short for an average height or taller adult The pull out couch mattress was terrible, with a bowl like hole in the center and a metal support bar crossing about two thirds down. The entire bed also tilted down toward the open end. It definitely needs replaced.
If you aren't fussy with sleeping comfortably, this was a decent place to stay with excellent communication with the owners, great amenities, and a great central location.

If you’re looking for a place with a lot of tourists and 5 star hotels, this may not be the place for you. BUT, if you’re looking for local island vibes, culture, charm, beautiful beaches without big crowds, and ocean views for miles, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY!!! We absolutely loved our stay!! It felt cozy and comfortable. I was a little worried by some of the reviews regarding age of the unit, decor, etc. I felt it was charming and similar to what you’d see on The Golden Girls. We didn’t go to Maui for the furniture. We went for the views, the ocean, and all things outside. Beds were comfy (we prefer firm, and the master was great). There were plenty of linens, towels, coolers, chairs, etc. The a/c was wonderful on our 90 degree days. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The bbq grills were great for our family. A small tip we learned as first time Maui visitors; wait until the afternoon trade winds slow down before grilling. Very friendly atmosphere, plenty of space to play on the beach and a nice rocked in cove for swimming and looking at fish and turtles. This is a quiet resort. But, plenty of kids of all ages. You can walk the beach for a mile in either direction and it’s stunning!!! 20-40 minute drive along the gorgeous coastline to Lahaina!! 15-20 minutes from the airport! 5 minutes to Safeway and other local shops. Leaving brought tears to my eyes! Mahalo to you and your family Jim, for sharing your space with us, so we can all experience the beauty and charm of Maui! We will most certainly be back again soon!!!

What a breathtaking view from the balcony and the unit is just as shown in the pictures and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation! Owner was easy to work with and provided detailed information to make our stay simple, including a local guide. The building and property are well-maintained. Beach area is great - in the morning the stone lined area is shallow to wade out in regular shorts/shirts to see the basking sea turtles. Water in that area is calm and great for young kids. On either side there is additional beach area with waves too. Also additional beaches to explore in an easy drive. The only surprise for us at the unit was no shades/curtains to block the light in the bedrooms or family room where sleeping areas are. Master had shades but not to block out light. The views are gorgeous so for some this may not be an issue especially if you are early risers. Regardless, we had a terrific stay and would return.

• Pool closed for “annual repairs” for 1/2 our visit. Wish we had known that.
• Everything is dated. Decor, appliances, swim toys (dirty/broken), beddings (holes in sheets), etc. The condo is clean but looks dirty or unkept in some places that just need refreshed.
• Door locks were funky. Had to call for help for main door and daughter kept locking herself in the bathroom.
• parking spaces are very very tight.
• glass tops on every surface isn’t ideal with kids.
• no ice maker in freezer. Thankful for ice trays and ice bucket.

We just checked out earlier today and are at the airport waiting to go home. This was such a cozy and nice place. I (35) brought my Grandma (79) who had always wanted to see Hawaii and never had the chance yet. I also had my daughter (11) and my little sister (14). The condo and view was just as pictured. Amazing. Allowed Grandma a great view and people watching pool/beach while I took the girls and did some other activities. Slightly outdated interior with an 'older hawaaian theme' but again, just as pictured. The view was so pretty and peaceful. The grounds and condo it self were both very well taken care of. Easy access to pool and beach. Simple check in and out process. Owners were super responsive with any questions and had direct numbers to them and others that help care for the condo. We did turn on the AC in rooms on the first night when arriving. Negative for that was the output for the AC unit was on the balcony and was kicking out hot air, not comfortable to sit out there. (I had questions on it and it was quickly answered... even in the middle of the night their time.) Once we got up the next morning we turned the AC off and had windows open and fans on. The breeze makes it comfortable enough. Did not have AC on again. They have a full linen closest including extra bedding, bath towels, and beach towels. Extra box fans in closest if needed. Beach chairs, sun umbrella, and coolers also in the unit to use. Full kitchen. Area was prett quiet. We never had issues parking or waiting long for elevators. I would highly suggest this condo! It was right up our alley.

What a spectacular spot to begin our Hawaii vacation : beautiful location right on the beach, clean, comfy condo with everything you could need for a home base, stunning sunsets, natural beach for morning walks and waking up to TURTLES !! Inside the little breakwater. The hosts provide amazing tips and support. Didn’t need the property Manager at all. Highly recommended.

This was a last minute trip for us and it seems like we struck gold finding this hidden gem. Jim, the owner, had great communication from the time we booked until we checked out. He answered every question and even provided a handy local tour guide he and his wife created.
If you are looking for an elegant VRBO this isn't it. If you are looking for a clean, functional unit with all the necessities, in a great location, then this is the unit. The pool was great for the kids and the on-site grills were perfect for some burgers and steaks at sunset. The condo maintenance team did a great job keeping the public areas clean and tidy. I also felt that the other residents were very respectful and friendly and we didn't notice any loud parties or concerning behavior. The grill was spotless and the pool looked and felt very clean.
Overall I would highly recommend this unit to a family or small group looking for a functional, perfectly located place to stay on Maui at a very fair price.

This property is wonderfully clean and has a comfy vibe with the throwback (and still stylish) furniture. The ocean view from the Lanai is extraordinary and while the typical Maui winds pick up in the afternoon, you're still protected and cool. We visited in April and didn't use the AC, and just had fans and windows and were very comfortable.
Communication with the owners was a pleasure and they are truly good people. We all had a lovely stay. Plenty of beach stuff to use, including some toys, beach chairs and umbrellas. Plenty of storage, and the apartment was immaculate when we arrived. Ease of access and access to the facilities was also top notch. The grounds are cleaned every day and it feels like a resort with a touch of home. Thank you!

Wonderful condo with fantastic view of the ocean and mountains from balcony! The condo was just as pictured and very clean. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The multiple cell phone chargers, iron/ironing board, and beach chairs were especially appreciated. The location is also great, easy driving distance to several beautiful beaches, although we enjoyed the small public beach next door, the Maui Fish Pond, which has a coral and lava rock wall that creates an area with very calm waters for swimming or wading about. It was not at all crowded and a good, safe option for folks with little ones.

The condo is in a centrally located area of south Maui. It is convenient to get to anywhere quickly. The pictures are accurate. It was wonderful to wake up to that view and enjoy breakfast on the lanai every morning. Jim was a very good host and always answered my questions quickly. We had no issues with anything before or during our trip. We would book this condo again if the opportunity arose.

We loved your stay at this condo! It’s a little older of a condo but super clean and had more amenities than we could’ve asked for. It’s just that the pictures describe you literally have a view of the ocean in the pool. It’s a good layout it was a better layout than our friends condo in the same building. They had anything and everything you could ask for we loved having a washer and dryer, beach towels, chairs, and snorkeling equipment. Being directly on the beach was great. We used the BBQ down at the pool a few nights and it was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

There's a great view from the condo and the beach is ~50 yards from the closest elevator which is awesome. If you come out early morning or evening you'll probably also see dozens of turtles along the shore. The condo has a great kitchen which was paramount for our family. The kitchen has all kinds of utensils and tools and we used the blender to make smoothies almost every day!
I also slept really well which I attribute to the mattresses.
This is very subjective but I also really liked the decor of the condo.

the property is located near the middle of the island, making it convenient to enjoy the sights. Additionally it has a very nice beach with stone wall to break waves, etc. Pool was nice as well . But most notable was the Amenities in the condo. My wife said this was the most complete kitchen we have ever had the pleasure to use in any property.

This is our 8th visit to Maui. We visited in June of 2021. This area is great for many reasons: Wonderful trade winds, usually. Central location. Not as busy as the resort areas South and West. Many eating options in the area. I could go on and on...Love it!
