I think this is the 3rd or 4th time staying at one of Darrick’s condos and he does not disappoint. Not only is a beautiful condo, great area but he’s gone out of his way to pay attention to the little things. So often with these condos you have the bare minimum and that’s it. Never enough for a full weeks stay or more. Here is soft towels, loads of amenities needed in day to day life, even curling items, female products and much more. The place is clean and welcoming. Thanks Darrick.

was very clean and well maintained. The location was great and the beach just a short walk.
The courtyard with pool, games, tennis courts and barbeque area was great.
We were a group of 5 and there was plenty of room.
The beach towels, chairs,coolers etc. were great to have.

Great condo in a great location in Kihei. Condo was clean, grounds at the complex were beautiful, many types of games provided like croquet, cornhole, shuffleboard, etc. Darrick was a great host, would rent from him again

We enjoyed our stay despite arriving Tuesday night during the fires. Darrick checked in with us Wednesday morning to make sure everyone was safe. Our grandsons loved the pool and the amenities. The location was great. Despite the horrific tragedy, we were able to enjoy our vacation. We will definitely stay her again.

We have stayed at Maui Sunset several times before and the complex never disappoints. Great location with stores, coffee and restaurants in walking distance. The complex has a fun pool and relaxing hot tub and several other activities for all ages. The unit itself was very spacious, clean and well stocked with the basics. It fit our family of six perfectly!

The condo was as pictured, nice and comfortable. The
kitchen was very well stocked and made cooking easy. They had a lot of amenities to enjoy outside, the pool, a putting green, tennis courts, and shuffleboard that the kids had fun with. On the last day we found out our flights were delayed until evening so Darrick let us check out much later. So nice of him. We would definitely recommend this unit.

Condo was as described and met our needs. Beds comfortable. Kids loved the pool and activities offered like shuffleboard, bocce ball and tennis. Beach best suited for paddleboarding. Very shallow and rocky. Good news is condo centrally located to other beaches that were better for swimming. Would stay here again next time we come to Maui.

Our unit flooded up from the shower on the 3rd day. It was very stressful and ruined our plans for the day. My husband bailed water into the toilet until a plumber came. It was 3 hours of plumbers and strangers coming in and out of condo. We were not allowed to use any water in condo during this time. We would have liked more timely communication from the owner after the flooding. We never felt like we could safely leave anything on or near the floor again during our stay. We were refunded one day’s worth of the charges for condo.

The unit and the property was beautiful and so very well maintained and clean! The kitchen was very well appointed making any meals we had in very easy to prepare and we very much appreciated the in-suite laundry.
Our only challenge was that the in-room air conditioners were very noisy.
Otherwise, I would definitely want to visit Maui using this property again!

Maui Sunset is a beautiful and extremely well kept property. We live in NE Ohio and this was a great place to get out of the cold weather. We grilled several times and were pleased to see that the grills were completely cleaned every morning.
Our one suggestion would be to have a bar near the pool for adults to purchase refreshments while relaxing by the pool.

For me and my friend, this condo was the perfect amount of space and had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our six day vacation. We cooked several times and made use of the well-stocked kitchen, and for beach day we took advantage of the various beach supplies available. It was like being at home, but in the comforts of Maui. 10/10 would recommend.

We stayed at the condo with 2 adult sons and 2 pre-school age grandchildren. The "wall bed" was much more comfortable than a sofa bed, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We were at the end near the street, but found the unit to be quiet. The beds and linens were comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked, the air conditioning comfortable, the location great for all of our interests. The manager, Darrick was a gem to work with and very helpful.
The grounds of the condo were immaculate and the grandchildren loved the pool. The water at the beach was a little rough at times for them, and we were able to find a "baby beach" about 20 min away with calmer waters.

Our host was gracious, communicated promptly, and was a pleasure to work with! The condo was exactly what we needed for a family of six - clean, centrally located on the island, and the well manicured grounds had nice amenities such as communal gas grills and a nice sized pool with hot tub. Overall, I would highly recommend this location and host!

Kihei is a great area to stay on Maui. The Condo was just as advertised and the grounds were meticulously well groomed. We had everything we needed four our island getaway with HuliHuli chicken and ribs within walking distance at the little flea market nearby. All the delights Maui had to offer we conveniently close. Loved our stay … not to mention all the beautiful sunsets!

Really a great location. Parking was easy, elevator was nice to have. A garbage chute on the same level all made this an easy place to stay. The room was a good layout, surprised that we could see the ocean , pool and lovely grounds from our balcony. The only drawback was that our room was next to Kehie Rd and could hear the cars with the door open/from our balcony; hence the 4 Stars. I would definitely come back. We had a murphy bed that we pulled down in the living room and was great !We used it for the baby's play area, but great if we had another 2 people. The manager was very helpful and sent us information on confirmation, and more info based on our needs. Would definitely recommend this property! Check in- arrived on Sunday, the office is closed, it took a couple of calls for them to answer, so I gave that a 4.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and pictures were accurate. Nice to have beach chairs and a cooler to use. The one thing I would note is that there is a lot of road noise on the balconies. Not bothersome in the condo, but noticeable when outside. The grounds were lovely. No issues with checkin or check out. Overall, I would stay in this unit again.

Really enjoyed this condo. We have stayed at this property in various condos several times and love Maui Sunset over all. One thing we really appreciated was having a condo with two rooms and two king beds. Well equipped with everything we needed for cooking. This condo is clean and NOT cluttered with a ton of decor which we appreciated. Our only two draw backs would be that the fan in one of the rooms was loud and needs to be repaired. We found we needed the fan on to circulate the ac while sleeping at night. And the fan needs to be repaired it was loose and making a squeaky noice that was hard to sleep with. And the condo is right next to the Main Street so when you sit out on the balcany traffic is loud for visiting with family.... we love to eat outside on the balcany every day so that was a draw back to us. No fault to the owner. And you can't hear the street noise at all when you are inside the condo... just when eating outside "if that's important to you" Just our personal draw back opinion. Over all lovely place. Owner was very quick to respond to all questions. We would rent again.

The condo has everything one could desire. So clean and comfortable and appliances and kitchen made for ease for meals, laundry, etc. I’ve stayed at Maui Sunset before and couldn’t wait to book again. This time a two bedroom. I’d book B201 again in a heartbeat. Thanks to Darrick who made this place a perfect place to enjoy.

We stayed one week here and it was fabulous. The place was very clean, as was the property overall. Washer dryer in unit was very useful. It was also stocked with beach chairs, cooler, umbrellas. Great location, close to restaurants, stores, and several beaches. Pool quite large (bigger than the photos would suggest) and hot tub large too. Would definitely stay again! Note that this unit is close to the road, so there is traffic noise, which didn’t bother us but could be an issue for some.

We really enjoyed this condo. Peaceful, beautiful grounds, nice pool, not crowded . This unit has everything we needed for the beach (towels, cooler, chairs, umbrella, sand toys). Kitchen well appointed. If you plan to cook, make sure to bring your own spices (salt/ pepper available). Location made it easy to drive to different beaches each day. We only spent one morning at the beach in front of the condo. Darrick very easy to work with.

When we drove up, I was a little concerned because the outside of the condo building is not anything to write home about. However, once we opened the door to the condo, I was immediately impressed. The condo was super clean and spacious. It had everything we needed, including beach chairs and snorkel gear. The location was close to everything and made a great home base. An added plus was the beautifully kept condo grounds. It was like a secret paradise hidden from the outside! Thank you, Darrick, for making our stay easy and effortless. We will definitely come back!

The condo was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Plenty of sleeping areas for our family of 5. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cutlery, pots and pans. There is a cooler and snorkel gear.
What else could we ask for!
