Loved the accessibility to the whale sanctuary and Kihei beach. The better beaches were in Wailea but Kihei has a more cruisy coast town vibe which we liked. Beverly’s place was great for our 5 and 9 yr old, we could sit on the patio while they kicked a ball right outside (all enclosed and safe). Great stay all up!!

Prior to check-in Beverly reached out and explained all of the key information about the property, amenities, and check-in process. Ideally situated we could not have had a better place to stay and highly recommend this to other travellers!

The whole family enjoyed the rental. This property has really beautiful grounds and the kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Both of which were good size. Walking across the beach to the street was very easy and we saw a number of sea turtle on the beach across the street. Host was easy to communicate with and overall we had a very positive experience.

We stayed for couple of nights. Got a little difficulties in finding the properties since it is located close to another residential apartment, which accidentally shared the same apartment number of the rental. After checking in, our kids love the place a lot. It is next to the swimming pool, the beach, and even the city park where you can find lazy turtles on the sea walls. It is convenient to airport, and all snorkeling locations too.
On our last day we did see a dead roach on our bedroom floor. A little inconvenient but not a big deal.
In all, this is a great place and worth the price we paid. we would definitely like to come back in the future.

This condo was a great home base. It doesn’t have ac in the living area or 2nd bedroom so our girls struggled with getting hot at night. It is a very basic condo nothing fancy. It is clean and it did all we needed it to do. The homeowner provided chairs, coolers, sun umbrellas and some toys. We had a few minimal issues but the owner was very quick to respond and fix the problems. We never had any issues parking. It has numerous beaches right across the street. Perfect location for the price.

We had a girls trip on Maui (3 adults) for my sister’s 50th birthday and had a great time at the Koa Resort! This unit is spacious and comfortable and has everything you need including beach chairs, cooler, etc. Great location right by the pool…and perfect central location in Kihei as well. Beverly was great with communication. Would definitely stay here again! :)

Wonderful two-bedroom condo in northern Kihei. One king and one queen bed. My back can be pretty picky with mattresses, but we slept very comfortably. Kitchen and living room are spacious and accommodated our group of 4 well. Check in was easy. We were mostly out sight seeing, so we didn't use the amenities on the property. But the host provides snorkels, beach towels, beach umbrella - a great add to the value of the stay. Thank you for having us!

Beverly is such a kind and responsive host! The place was well stocked (more than I thought it would be), the WiFi worked well with multiple devices at a time, and the pool is perfect for little kids, up to teens and adults. We also loved that they had beach toys and inflatable life jackets for the littles. Thanks for the great stay and we hope to be back!

We had an excellent stay at the Reck's condo I'm Kihei. It was cozy and equipped with everything we needed including a Cooler, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and a couple boogie boards. We also really loved the location and enjoyed morning coffee on the beach across the street and easily went for morning runs in the neighborhood. The pool was also fantastic. Would stay here again!

Our stay at the Kihei Koa Resort condo exceeded our expectations! The location was great - the beach across the street is less than a 5 minute walk and restaurants were within a 10 minute (or less) drive. It was also an easy drive to Lahaina and north east side (Paia). The pool is beautiful, large, and very close to the back door of the condo. It is 2 to 9 feet deep and warm too. The condo has a very nice kitchen, convenient tile floors throughout, 2 comfortable beds, and plenty of beach supplies. It was a great size for our family (2 adults and 2 little kids). We would definitely stay at Beverly’s again if we were in Maui!

Overall very nice place to stay. Clean spacious inside, pretty well stocked with your everyday staples. Although we didn’t find scissors. Only thing that needs attention is the doors. A little weather beat. But we definitely would rent again.
Getting in contact with owner was easy. Luckily we didn’t have to make contact for problems, because we didn’t have any, but simple questions was easy to ask.

Great place to stay! Nothing needs to be taken other than sunblock and your clothes. It is fully stocked with anything you would need. The place is clean and the grounds are kept nicely. Communication was good, Beverly answered emails very quickly. It was home away from home and we would definitely stay there again!

This is our second time staying at KOA condos and we love the grounds, the pool is amazing and overall family friendly. Beverly’s condo is just as described and pictured. A great place to stay with your family. The condo is well stocked we cooked every day in the condo and had no issues. The condo has great beach supplies, beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, coolers and umbrellas which was greatly appreciated and used on our beach days. We stayed with our two young daughters and the condo had a pack and play and high chair which we utilized as well! Condo had ample amounts of towels and beach towels we never ran out. The beds are very comfortable no complaints.
Only issues we ran into was the wifi was slow but made us get off our phones and unplug more. The road outside the bedrooms is loud at night and took some getting used to.

The KOA resort never disappoints. This condo was nice in that it was ground floor and close to the pool. Beds were comfortable. It was nice to have boogie boards, chairs etc for use. Floor could have used a deeper cleaning as noticed by the bottoms of our feet. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

We had a very nice stay for 9 nights in January. The property was in good shape with a well-appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. It's important to note that only the master bedroom has air conditioning, but the weather was mild enough for that not to be a major issue and there are a few fans available. The WiFi was pretty slow and dropped out entirely from time to time. I could usually stream something on Netflix, but sometimes stuff would get stuck buffering for a while and trying to get some work done on my laptop was difficult due to network speed and drops. Beverly was super helpful though in communicating with us and making sure we had everything we needed. She had beach chairs, boogie boards, and coolers available for our use as well, which was super convenient. Even with the caveats regarding the air conditioning and wifi, we felt the stay was well worth the cost and wouldn't have issues staying here again or recommending it to friends.

We stayed for 6 days and felt like we were in the middle of everything we wanted to do. The living room opens up to a great lanai and lawn with a very quick walk to the pool. Had everything we had. I would agree with other comments that it would be nice for the other bedroom to have an AC unit. Fans in and doors in the rest of house work well. Great communication with owner and great beach hear to use. Would stay again!

We enjoyed this property, especially the grounds. With high summer temps and only one AC unit in the primary bedroom, we spent a lot of time out of the unit sightseeing, at the pool, enjoyed some tennis and ping pong and just the lush property surrounding. With plumeria trees all over, it smelled like Hawaii should. We mentioned a couple of broken items and the owner came over right away to look into things. The biggest downside was the lack of correctly working internet to use our phones to check on business via email. It would say we were connected to their WiFi, but nothing would load. My kids also complained that their games on their tablets would drop. But thankfully it worked for Netflix so we could watch a family movie together at night. We didn’t bother with it as we thought the owner would need to be the one to call and troubleshoot it with the company. I tried to message the owner about it but the WiFi was too bad for the app to work to send it. Thankfully nothing too pressing, but if it had been, we could have been very frustrated having to drive to an area with better cel coverage. This location is a drive from restaurants and good beaches and is a bit windier up here just so people are aware. Thanks for sharing your home away from home with us. We found everything we needed as far as kitchen, bath, and linen items for our stay and some extras. Beach chairs, boogie boards (some need to be replaced) tennis rackets and balls, coolers, and beach towels. Overall, for the price, I would stay here again. Thanks!!

This was a great option on the more affordable end of the spectrum. We stayed for three weeks and it turned out great.
Our kids loved the pool and hot tub and the pool was very big which was nice. The beach is only a block away and just a bit down the beach sea turtles hang out on the rocks every morning until about 9am. We had an amazing time and Kihei was a great central location with lots of food options and great beaches. We are a tennis family, so having courts on site was awesome.
The air conditioner was in the main bedroom and a bit loud but on quiet mode it became like a “white noise” machine, so we slept fine. For what we paid I don’t think we could have done any better. In fact, this is our second time staying at the KOA resort.
