This home was everything we thought it would be and more! The view of the ocean was amazing and the location was perfect for walking less than a minute to get great food and drinks. The house was stocked with a surplus of beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, coolers and even snorkel gear! Mike was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to have an awesome trip. We will 100% be staying here on our next trip to Maui!

Positives were updated bathrooms & kitchen appliances, more like a studio with a small kitchen. Nice view as well. Beds were comfortable. Not so great were rooms warm & lots of rules for turning on and off the air conditioning. We were also asked to wash all towels even tho we paid for cleaning. Furniture was very old & dated.

We keep going back to this condo because it is in the perfect location for us.
We enjoy walks along the beach though we are not much for swimming.
Three of our favourite restaurants in Kihei, Coconuts, Freds and Maui Fish and Chips are just a nice half our walk away.
Foodland grocery store is just up the street and we get special pricing there using Mike's membership.

Highly, highly recommend. If you are a surfer you will love waking up, checking the surf from the lanai and jumping in the water at dawn to watch the sunrise!

We stayed with here with our two boys (15 & 12) and it was amazing. The location is perfect, plenty of restaurants/food trucks and beaches within walking distance. The place was perfect for our family and has an amazing view of the ocean. Owner was awesome and was very responsive to any questions we had. We’ll definitely be staying there again.

We couldn't have asked for a better combo of location, condo features, amenities, and host communication.
The condo is right across from the park, with balcony views of the beach and sunset. Good beginner surfing right across the street - great for the water lovers and for watching the day's student surf groups. Easy access to great restaurants within walking distance, and on one of the roads that connects to the highway making it easy to get from Kihei to other parts of the island. The condo was well stocked with more than we needed for kitchen supplies and beach gear. Mike was very responsive to questions through the VRBO interface and checked in via text after we arrived.
The only downside is that the condo is south-facing and gets full sun in the winter months, so you'll want to keep the blinds closed to minimize the greenhouse effect. Not a problem if you're planning to spend time on the beach (we took the beach chairs to the park instead of enjoying the balcony most afternoons), but might be something to consider if you're looking for a work-from-home option. Others have noted that the second bedroom does not have a view. We basically only used that for sleeping and didn't find that to be an issue.

The best parts of this property are the balcony, overlooking the ocean, the local feel of the neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and shopping (all within walking distance), and the swimming beach 1 mile down the road with easy street parking. Also only 10 minutes from the Shops and Big Hotels in Wailea for a different experience. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and Mike is by far the most helpful, attentive homeowner I have come across. The only downside was the small, dark second bedroom. Didn't compare to the master bedroom with a view of the ocean.

We had 4 people here for a week, and the space worked well for us. The master bedroom and living room had fantastic views! The back bedroom was good for sleeping, but no view and the window opened onto the walkway, so it was kept shut most of the time.
The living room, kitchen, dining table and balcony were great spaces and we enjoyed cooking and playing family games there when we weren't out on an adventure.
The location was wonderful, with nice beaches, shopping, restaurants and surfboard rentals within easy walking distance.
The property manager was easy to work with and communicated well.

We loved our stay at this cute condo right on the water! walking distance to so many great restaurants and bars too! My 16 year old son loved walking out the door for surf lessons and beach time. The pool in the building is small but I enjoyed many quiet swims during the day with a nice glass of wine. Hope to be back again someday!

It was our family's first trip to Maui Island, and Mike's condo helped make it a fun memorable trip.
The location of this condo is very convenient in the town of Kihei and provided a good launching pad to various adventures on Maui's west and central areas. We whale-watched out of Lahaina, saw the sunrise at Kalahaku Overlook, snorkeled Molokini Crater, and visited many northwest and southwest beaches.
There are quite a few restaurants that are in walkable distance. We split our meals between the condo and the restaurants of Maui, and we stopped at the Kahului Costco on our way from the airport upon arrival. Mike's condo provides all the kitchen necessities to make some great meals there if you are interested in doing so.
There is also some beach equipment provided, of which we used the beach chairs.
The master bed is very comfortable, and we ran the air conditioners at night in order to cool the room while also providing white noise that we are used to while sleeping.
We would recommend this condo and will definitely consider renting it again when we return to Maui.

Spacious condo with an outstanding view, within walking distance of many good restaurants, a grocery store, and a park with a walking path just across the street. The lanai was larger than most, we enjoyed it for our meals and just relaxing. Well stocked with all you need for the beach, swimming. and preparing meals. Mike was very helpful and responded immediately when we needed anything. Definitely will return and would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Kihei. Mike's property is very nicely located to be able to travel in all directions. It is also across a nice park with a beach front and a long walking trail. Lots of restaurants near by as well. The property itself was clean and as described online. It has a large lanai, which was very nice as we hung out there most of the time. All in all, it was a great stay.

Perfect in every way! This condo checked all the boxes! The location was perfect for walking to the beach, restaurants, shopping and a lot more. Comfortable beds, awesome view and a fully stocked kitchen made our stay even better. The owner was great to work with. He communicated with us both before and during out stay to make sure everything was meeting our needs. Check in and out was very easy. This will be our number one pick of condos when we return to Maui to continue the fun! We definitely would and hope to stay here again.

My wife and I worked remotely in Maui in January 2022. The condo was well-suited for both work and play. There were desks chairs and fast Internet, great cell reception and great views of surfing and whales - seen from balcony while we worked. The facility was also great for play. Mike, our host, had everything we needed including beach chairs and umbrellas. Sunsets and walkable bars and restraints were great. Robyn opened salt water cafe downstairs so great breakfast and lunches were available on premises Every day but Sunday. We also were able to get pedicures and surfing lessons from businesses on the first floor. We are going back next year!!

Great location in Kihei across from the shore where you can watch surfers and paddle boarding every morning. Busy street but we closed doors at night using only bedroom AC. Totally well equipped with beach gear and such. Plenty of kitchen stuff and we used the grill by pool one night. Central location. Laundry room was handy to have. Probably see tiny ants so don’t leave out any food on counters.

Mike's place checked off all the boxes! The location is great, house is well stocked, clean, and inviting. You can literally hear the ocean waves from the large balcony, there are countless shops and eateries within walking distance, and parking is plentiful. This trip was for the adults but Mike's place would easily accommodate a family also. Mike, is very responsive and he makes sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. This place is better than any (Maui) hotel I have stayed in previously. We will be back.

The room is as beautiful in person as it is in the photos! The room perfectly housed my three friends and I. The ocean is directly across the street. There is even a really nice park across the street. If you love ocean views and the sound of waves, then this is the place for you. We enjoyed waking up early and sitting on the balcony to watch the sunrise and to watch the surfing lessons. Amazing location. Shops, restaurants, bars, and the grocery store are all within a 5 minute walk. Mike was a great host. He responded quickly and even recommended things for us to do.

The condo is across the street from a park on a beach. It has great views and easy access to water activities. Next door there is a dive shop and two surf rental shops for paddle boards and surfing. Two blocks away are restaurants, a taco truck and a grocery store, plus shaved ice.

Nice two bedroom condo with everything we needed! Beautiful view. We had coffee every morning on the balcony and watched the surf lessons. A little more road noise than I would like but we could close the windows and run the Air-conditioning to get a good nights sleep. Condo has a well equipped kitchen and a nice assortment of beach needs.

My wife and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary in Maui and our stay at Mike’s condo was a definite plus of the trip. We had plenty of room and everything we needed for times we were just wanting to stay in and relax.
