Unit 2601-1, referred to as 'Ocean Escape', for it's great Ocean and Diamond Head views. This Unit is a luxurious one bedroom Condo in the Waikiki Banyan complex offering great value for money!

'Ocean Escape' is located on the 26th floor of the popular Tower I, and is conveniently located one block from the Beach, and a couple blocks from the Zoo. The local bus stop is situated in front of the building and within walking distance you will find; Restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and activities for all ages.

The unit comes with a Fully equipped Kitchen- pots, pans, utensils, cups, plates, bowls, coffee maker, grinder, toaster, rice cooker, and more... Full size fridge and stove, a spacious 1 bedroom with a King size bed, extra linens and blankets, night stands and a dresser. A pull out queen size couch in the living room area and a blow up mattress allows for extra guests. There are 3 large pocket sliding doors that close off the bedroom from the living area for privacy and noise reduction.

The Unit is kept very clean and tidy, travertine tiled living room, carpeted bed area, separate door to bathroom. King Size bed en suite with sliding doors that close off the Living room area from the bedroom area for privacy.

As the owner I care about my customers to have the best stay possible so that they may enjoy themselves and just have fun.


Also included: 42 Inch flat screen internet capable TV. There is an over sized Lanai to feel the breeze, check out the beach surf, or simply admire the majestic presence of Diamond Head Crater.

Everything was great. There's really nothing to complain about. Communication was easy, likewise descriptions, instructions etc. We've found everything we needed, beach chairs and even a couple pairs of fins that turned out handful for snorkeling at Electric beach. Even though there's no designated parking space there, we never had a problem finding one for parking car.

The condo is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Just a block to the beach. Great pool and beautiful view of diamond head and sunrise. The condo had everything we needed enjoyed our stay

Communication was great with Mike. The room was great and it was nice that we had snorkel and beach gear available in the room too! We had a change of plans with adding my parents to the room and Mike was super flexible about it. Would book again!

Great place to stay. We were there for 7 nights setting up my son at Hawaii Pacific University. It is conveniently located and you are within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and stores. Loved the full sized kitchen and island. Spacious and clean. The pool and hot tubs were clean and a great amenity. Owner was attentive and available to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Just returned last week from Oahu and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mike’s condo. Everything was clean and comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked and the included parking was very convenient. The location is great, only one block from the beach, convenient to restaurants, shops and gorgeous sunsets. The view from the balcony was spectacular too. I would not hesitate to stay again in any of Mike’s condos. He was a great host, extremely helpful and very responsive. I never had to wait long for him to respond to any of my questions. We had a wonderful vacation! Thank you again Mike!

We rented this condo for my parents 50th anniversary. The two of them were very happy and pleased with this unit. Very tidy and well taken care of. I dealt with Mike on all arrangements. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of, including keeping up on conversations for check in and out when I lacked quick responses which was VERY appreciated. He helped make this trip wonderful for all! I appreciate it Mike! We would rent from him again.

We have just had a fantastic 2 week stay in this condo and it was absolutely perfect. Communication with Mike was always prompt and never an issue. The location is awesome and everything we needed was catered for. We hired a car for the whole time so the parking space that came with the condo was perfect. My family has stayed in both of Mike's units over the last 10 years. Mike is genuine in sharing the Aloha spirit. This trip found us at the Ocean Escape unit. He was in contact with me throughout our stay to assure we had what was needed. The location is great. It is a few blocks from the beach, zoo, park, restaurants and easy access to H1. The view from the lanai included Diamond Head and the Ocean. There was an occasional wait for the elevator but nothing to complain about. We appreciated the use of the many kitchen amenities. Having a parking pass allowed the family to come and go without the expense of valet parking, definitely a bonus. Mahalo for sharing your home. We will be back!

Everything about the property was great! Property Manager always responded quickly to any concerns and was very pleasant. The only issue was the parking. Some of the attendants were rude, stalls very tight and limited oversized stalls. You are only allowed 1 visitor parking per day (4 hours in 24 hours). Elevators was having issues. Stopping half way between floors, not moving and loud thump noise.

The property had a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. The bathroom was nice, however the living spaces were dated and most of the b arch equipment such as chairs and umbrellas were broken.The red set was functional.

We enjoyed our stay for about 1 month. Landlord Mike is easy to communicate with and brought us 2 more chairs ( and some cleaning supplies since we stayed quite a few days.) We like the location on Kuhio & Ohua. Quieter than Kalakaua st. and it's a short walk to beach and Kapiolani Park. Also we like the ability to 'self park' in the parking garage. The condo is a nice size one bedroom. Sofa is new and comfortable, as is the bed. The elevators seem rather slow at the Waikiki Banyan. But overall, it's a good place to stay.

We travel without kids and rely on the couch / hide a bed and this property has absolutely the worst couch on the planet and the hide a bed was the same. The kitchen utensils and pots and pans were the same. We ended up having to buy air mattresses and frying pans and spatulas etc to use this property. Overall nice neighborhood and location but for the price we expect more from a Vrbo rental

We stayed for two weeks with three adults and a three year old. 2 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the Zoo, and 10 minutes to shopping and dining area. Everything was within walking distance so didn’t really need a car. When we did rent a car, free parking on premises. Pool and playground was greater for our toddler. Kitchen was large enough to prepare meals. Lots of extra little amenities like a beach chairs and umbrella. The only reason it’s four stars is that the foldout couch was unusable as a bed so we used the foam on the ground in the living room area. It’s also an older space but as a longer term home base it was just right.

We truly enjoyed making Mike’s condo our home. The unit is well equipped so making meals was easy. We enjoyed our short stroll to the beach to watch the sunset. Many restaurants are right in the area so having a car isn’t necessary but if you do have a car, this unit comes with a free parking space. This is a big plus! It’s a very roomy one bedroom condo that had all the comforts of home. Mike was a wonderful host. We will be back!
