We had a great stay at Kihei Garden Oasis. It’s exactly as described in the listing!! The house is set off from the main road so it’s very quiet. Amenities were great. They have all the useful beach toys, games umbrellas. Well stocked kitchen with all the spices, cutlery, serving dishes etc. furniture was comfortable thoughout and beds and pillows were super comfy. Conveniently located to all
Shopping restaurants etc. 20 min drive to airport. Highly recommend this house!

The best vacation rental I’ve ever rented, hands down. It was spotlessly clean and tidy - and I am super picky. Obviously the owners stay on top of everything! The house is located so close to town and the beach, we walked everywhere. PLUS it’s the most well stocked house I’ve ever seen-seriously everything you’ll ever need. I have rented many condos and houses in Maui, and this is by far the best. The short list of items: coffee grinder, citrus squeezer, Tupperware, all types of coolers (wheels, soft, hard), a beach wagon, every toiletry imaginable, the list goes on and on. I even asked a question if they had a griddle. I received an immediate response, yes, they had one and where to look for it. Amazing! The kids were so happy they had so many games to choose from. The beds were comfy and the linens were plush.
I cannot think of one complaint. I loved relaxing in the hammocks in the front with coffee and backyard on the couch with a cocktail - oh did I mention they have a lime tree in the front so you can have fresh squeezed limes?!
Stay here! You won’t regret it! There were 8 of us and it felt spacious enough for us all.

We were staying at this property during the Lahaina fires. Although that was an overriding feeling of sadness and helplessness, we felt safe in Kihei. We appreciated that Jenni called to check on us and provide info on where to keep up to date on the state of the fires.
The house was just perfect for our family. It is so well appointed that we could not have asked for one thing. We especially appreciated the garage full of beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, snorkels, goggles and umbrellas. Everything was very clean and tidy, inside and out. We loved our time there. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to gather on Maui!

The outdoor lanai is incredible. Comfortable and beautiful! House is well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and anything you need.
One more bathroom would be great for big groups but that is minor.

Perfect location for a family, particularly if you have young children (we do not, but the house is stocked with accessories... Play pens, strollers, toys, etc). The house was incredibly clean, and the beds crazy comfortable. You really need to only run the AC at night in each rooms and maybe living room if you are cooking. The kitchen is very well stocked with spices, coffee, and appliances. The backyard is an oasis in the early mornings and evenings and the front hammock chairs are perfect all the time for slipping into a novel. The hosts are super responsive. Within maybe 2 days of booking they had sent a pdf with suggestions for activities and dining, which I used to plan our trip. All emails were answered within an hour if not minutes. Highly, highly recommend.

My husband and I recently came to Maui and brought family and friends. This house was more than we could have imagined. The beauty of the yard was amazing. The house had plenty of space for the six of us and it had everything you could think of that someone might need. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this house for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Maui. Within a short walk we had access to numerous restaurants and shops. We had a great time staying at the Kihei Garden Oasis! We were a group of girls coming from Oahu to Maui for spring break to explore the island and we truly couldn’t be more happy with our stay! The house is everything we could have wished for and more! It was so well equipped with everything one could ever need which made our stay so easy! Jenni and Dave has really spent a lot of time perfecting this home one could tell! Honestly the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at! Would 100% recommend and stay again!

The house was fabulous for our group of 6 adults & one child. The kitchen was fully stocked for our many homecooked meals, the garage was stocked with all the beach stuff we needed, there was toys for kids, water shoes, etc. All toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, etc. was fully stocked & a very nice touch. The location is great, being a short walk to the beach. Kihei neighborhood has a great laid back vibe & not too touristy. Jenni & Dave were amazing hosts & we would most definitely stay here again. We had several age groups in our family and the location was perfect! Some days we walked to activities, some days we drove! They host was so thoughtful in the accommodations, information, and experience. We had a wonderful time & were so comfortable. The organization of the home was impressive as well. Bed was so comfy! Jenni and Dave's house met and exceeded our expectations in just about every way:
- Great location - walking distance to restaurants / groceries / bar / beach and plenty of other activities, or a short drive to get the resort strip in Wailea.
- Cozy space - very clean, simple checking/checkout process, great AC, cozy backyard, and spacious hottub.
- Well-equipped - almost every amenity you could ask for. A well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and toiletries, and a garage filled to the brim with beach and adventure gear (we probably saved hundreds on snorkel gear / chairs / umbrellas / other beach stuff alone).
Simply an amazing stay for either a family or group of friends, would happily return, thanks Jenni and Dave!

Jenni and Dave’s home was perfect for our multigenerational family of 6 adults and two children. The home is beautiful. We enjoyed the patio, our granddaughters were delighted with the hot tub, and we all benefited from Jenni and Dave’s offer to pick the limes and other fruits from the trees in the yard. The house is very well-equipped, with all of the kitchen essentials and with plenty of beach towels and chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel equipment. The location is perfect, just a short walk from restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping,, and very close to great beaches. And Jenni and Dave are outstanding hosts, sending us lots of information in advance to help us plan our stay. One of our top three VRBO experiences.

The Kihei Garden Oasis was the perfect "home away from home" for our multi-generational family of 7. The property is exactly as pictured; beautiful outdoor space, tastefully decorated, impeccably clean and the owners clearly go to great lengths to accommodate our every need. There are abundant beach supplies, clean linens, toiletries of all sorts, and a well-stocked kitchen with a nice array of appliances, cooking utensils and spices. We love cooking family meals while on vacation and enjoyed many relaxing breakfasts and dinners together on the outdoor patio, with helpful suggestions from hosts Jenni and Dave on where to buy the best local products. Their guidance really helped us to make the most of our long-awaited first trip to Maui. This place will not disappoint!

Very spacious for all of us. Enjoyed the beautiful landscaping, outdoor swings, patio and the hot tub was a bonus! Beds were extra comfortable and plenty of ammenities throughout and in the garage. Glad we were able to book when it became available through a cancellation. Awesome vrbo!!!!!!! Great email booklet of everything to do and places to eat. We did eat at Mama's Fish House...worth the splurge. (another cancellation was available : ) Snokeling was great and closeby, along with many restaurants. We loved Maui and our stay.

There aren’t enough words to describe just how perfect this house was for our family of six. We had four generations and all of us enjoyed this beautiful home. The neighborhood is residential but just a few short blocks to all the action. Jenni has literally thought of everything you could need - seriously- there was not one thing we wanted that we couldn’t find. Top of the line everything - appliances, furniture, linens - you name it. The main bed was more comfortable than ours at home!!! Owners were quick to respond to questions and a pleasure to work with. Overall the property is super comfortable. There’s a few of physical choke points, but what home doesn’t have those? The neighborhood is very walkable and while the local beach isn’t spectacular the park and walkway are very enjoyable. Getting in and out of Kihei is super easy, especially when you consider so many spots on the island only have one way in and out.
I know my family really enjoyed the housing and the hosts were really nice!
Seriously the only reason I didn’t give the neighborhood five stars was not having access to a half mile of sandy beach within walking distance, yeah my standards for raised by such a great location! :-)

I cannot describe how well outfitted this property is to accommodate a family vacation. You could come with a backpack, some shorts, a t-shirt and that's about it. They have beach towels, over a dozen sets of snorkel gear to choose from, maybe 10 boogie boards, a skim board, chairs for the beach, the list goes on and on. The garage is a great space for the kids to go and blow off some steam, be kids. While we were there, a giant storm hit, taking out power for nearly 24 hours. There is a cupboard in the garage marked "for emergencies only." It had like 6 or 7 battery lanterns, a bunch of flashlights, a bunch of batteries ready to go. An emergency radio (which we used) and the list goes on. It could have been a really crappy experience, and while the weather wasn't perfect, the way the property was setup for us made it really comfortable and easy. Responses (by the owners) to questions were very fast. The kitchen is better stocked than ours at home, everything you need to cook and serve food. The Dyson stick vacuum - newer than ours at home. The Vitamix - newer than ours. Everything they have felt like home, or newer. It was incredible. I can't imagine doing Maui any other way.

The Kihei Garden Oasis was the perfect home away from home for our family of 8. We traveled as a family to Maui to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary. This place was amazing & had everything we could've possibly needed. The garage is full of fun things & everything to make your vacation easier... from snorkel gear to coolers, beach chairs to toys for the kiddos. They have it all in there. The house was spacious enough for our party of 8. We really enjoyed the lanai with all the comfy outdoor furniture & the 2 swing chairs in the front yard. We cooked every day in the fully stocked kitchen & even used the BBQ to grill up some fresh Mahi Mahi. The home is in a great neighborhood in the middle of Kihei, just off the main road. South Maui fish company is right down the road & has incredible ahi poke bowls & fresh fish for you to cook up yourself.
Jenni & Dave are fantastic hosts. Very responsive & helpful. They really have put a lot of thought & effort into making sure you have everything you need to have an unforgettable Maui vacation. We will definitely be looking forward to staying here again. Thank you for having us! Aloha!

Our stay at Dave and Jenni’s was just 5 star and way beyond our expectation. What they have thought of, I didn’t even know I had left home! They saved us so much packing…….all you need is your swimsuit and clothes, and aloha spirit. I’m a clean freak, assuming a “beach home” would be well used……NOT SO!! This home is so very well thought out, comfortable, and clean, you will feel the stress melt away the minute away as you walk through the door. If we are able to come back to Maui again, it will be at this home!

The Kihei Garden Oasis is a lovely, immaculate, incredibly well-stocked and organized, comfortable home in Kihei. It is PERFECT for families or large groups (we had 7 people in our group), with plenty of overall space and several different areas to relax. The bedrooms are cozy and the beds are very comfortable. And the backyard hot tub was much appreciated. A definite plus is the amount of items stocked in the house. The kitchen has absolutely everything you will need to cook at home and they provide lots of beach items (snorkels, fins, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, toys...) and games to play at home. We absolutely loved staying here and hope to come back again. Jenni and Dave were terrific communicators and we really appreciated the binder of instructions and advice for island activities, restaurants, tours, ect... Also, the house was spotlessly clean and easy to keep that way because of its seamless design. We highly recommend you stay here if you're planning on a trip to Maui! It is a more affordable 5 star alternative to the resorts and beachfront condos. Thanks Jenni and Dave!!!

This was a much needed trip away for myself and my wife, and five adult children (21 to 28). Finding a nice place with four bedrooms with comfortable king and queen beds is often challenging enough, much less all the charm and goodies in this well located home in a quiet, older neighborhood.
Starting outside, the backyard is very relaxing and secluded feeling with plenty of comfortable seating under the eves and large overhanging umbrella. Loved this area at breakfast and in the early evenings. One of our 20+ yr old kids found a croquet set in the garage, which led to playing lively games each night on the fenced in and private feeling front lawn.
Inside, the kitchen is smaller but very functional with most anything you might need. The dinner table easily seats 8 and is beautiful. The family room offers a great comfortable seating area for movies, games or reading/relaxing.
The garage is available to park in and full of useful items, including washer and dryer, as good as at home. We also appreciated the ample supply of beach items: bogey boards, chairs, umbrellas, as well as plenty of masks, snorkels, fins, and carrying bags.
The owners were also fantastic. Providing helpful information and detailed inventory of resources at the house before we arrived, binder of ideas and information in the family room and thoughtfully check on us by email when we arrived. Jenni also offered to have someone come out to tighten a loose faucet handle and mentioned a tool box in the garage, where I found a hex wrench for a simple tightening.
Bottom line, great owners and beach home, well remodeled in a quiet neighborhood.
Everything was as advertised, and more, for our Maui getaway!

Nothing but good things to say for this house. Everything you need is here - down to the last details. The property was clean and well maintained both inside and out. The yard even has fruit trees, including limes for making mai tais. Communication with the host before and during the trip was fast and efficient. The house exceeded our expectations. The amenities were plentiful and well thought-out. We had a toddler with us and the toys, books, high chair, play-yard and stroller saved us from having to lug everything on the plane. There are some wonderful restaurants (our favorite was Three's Bar and Grill) and a grocery within walking distance, as well as a huge park and smaller beach. Netflix and Amazon are available on the entertainment center, and there's a large selection of DVDs. It seemed like the house had been deep-cleaned before our stay as it felt like a new house.
Kihei itself wasn't exactly what we expected, as there's a bit of a mixture of nice and not-so-nice properties, but it still felt safe, family friendly, and walkable. Also it's a quick drive to Wailea or only about 30 minutes up to Lahaina and the North shore. Kihei made for a good home base with a lot more privacy than a condo or resort, so it worked out perfectly for us.

Absolutely fantastic vacation rental home. Everything that you need is in the home. A quick trip to the fish truck by Kihei Cafe and you've got a fantastic dinner of Ahi or Mahi Mahi. Some papaya from the garden and you can create a delicious salsa. There's beginner surfing lessons super close. Snorkeling off of Kam 3. Happy hour at Three's and at 5 Palms. The list is long. The first couple of days seem to last forever and then the last couple simply fly by. Will definitely go back.

Our group of 8 adults had the best time staying at the Kihei Garden Oasis. It really felt like home. Beautifully furnished and well maintained. Our stay was a busy one, with a lot of day excursions, so the outside patio with hot tub was a highlight for our group. The garage was fully stocked with beach chairs, towels and anything else you would need for a day of fun. Jennie was so wonderful to work with. We hope to be back someday and will definitely be staying at the beautiful Garden Oasis. Be sure to visit Coconut's for their fish tacos.

Jennie and Dave were a pleasure to deal with from the beginning to the end. They did everything they could to make our stay in their well appointed home the great experience which it was. Our son's wedding was on the beach in Maui. All three of our children, their spouses and our 20 month old granddaughter stayed with my wife and I at the home. It was a wonderful choice. It had everything we needed for the beach, etc. not only for the adults, but also for our granddaughter. The intimate and quiet yard with the grill, table and comfortable couches and chairs in the outside sitting area was a frequent spot for us all to sit and enjoy each other. The home is very conveniently located for walks into restaurants, etc. in Kihei as well as more distant road trips around the island. Our stay was tremendously memorable and the home added significantly to that experience.

The house is wonderfully appointed and has everything to make a vacation home feel like a real home. We stayed for five days at the Garden Oasis in February of 2016. The house has everything you need, I literally mean 'everything', especially if you have kids they have toys, games, strollers, beach necessities and if you are into cooking, you will fine everything for your gourmet cooking. I loved the outdoor shower area, private and very practical when you come straight from a beach. They have TV in all rooms but I didn't turn on the room TV even once, we were so busy exploring the area and the nearby beaches. The owner has kept the ground really beautiful and well groomed. I would highly recommend this place for your vacation in Maui.

This is a beautiful home and has everything you need. It is perfect for families or friends sharing a vacation. It is walking distance to the beach and some great little shops. We especially enjoyed our morning walk to a great little Coffee House. All the beach/water toys were a great addition and appreciated by the kids. It was also nice to be able to do laundry and have available beach towels, and chairs for our daily outings. A/C in every room. Flat screen TV's in every room. Electronic toys (Wii and X-Box) were a great addition. Had a long day sightseeing, boogie boarding, etc.? Enjoy the hot tub. The owners were on top of everything. Directions were spot on. Pictures of the property were 100% accurate. Patio area very relaxing and we utilized the BBQ several nights. If you need a 4 bedroom 2 bath place then just book this home. You will not be disappointed. I will definitely return here on my next trip to Maui.

This property is conveniently located in the heart of Kihei with lots of great options for food, drinks, water activities, scooter rentals, you name it. Walk 3-4 blocks down to the main road, there is a place to rent bikes and scooters (and tasty tacos). A couple blocks to the left and you're at the beach, supermarket, restaurants (Kihei Café is must for breakfast), and a place to rent paddle/surf boards. Location matters, and this place has it.
The house itself is large, clean, and looks just like the pictures. Everything looks new. The owners must have put a lot of thought into guest needs because the house seems to have everything we ever needed. Shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards...the list goes on. It was great not to not have to worry about renting or buying any beach gear. The kitchen was fully stocked including sharp knives and very nice cookware.
Bedding was really comfortable and each room had A/C. Super useful that week as it was like 92 degrees.
Hot tub with an outdoor warm shower was great way to relax after a long day paddle boarding or in my extended family's case, unwinding after a wedding.
Really, look no further, just book it. You'll love it.

We were ecstatic with our stay in this 4 bedroom house! The owners have put ALOT of thought into what travelers and families need during their stay in Kihei. We made full use of their supplies of towels, beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, and high chairs for the kids. Everything was available in the kitchen to cook full meals, bbq, make gourmet coffee, and have a glass of wine. The patio was the perfect spot to unwind after a full day exploring. The pictures of the property are exactly as shown. The visitors guide for surrounding food, sites, beaches, and etc was very useful. We would stay here again the next time we travel to Maui. Nice 4 bedroom house in quite neighborhood. Everything was in good working order and kitchen well equipped. They even supply beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie board, small ice chests! We had inquired if they had a rubber bath mat for shower due to elderly grandmother who is frail...they bought a nice one and had it in the house before we arrived. They have a baby bed (as well as high chair and stroller). We asked if they had a baby blanket for the bed (if not, we would bring). They bought one and had it delivered to the house!. We used the nice patio often (quite and out of the wind) as well as the hot top and great Webber gas grill. There was even some fresh ripe fruit to be picked in trees! There really was nothing they have not though of. House is close to various markets for food/fruit, etc.

We were in the house 9 nights and could have stayed MUCH LONGER. The house is close enough to everything, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. They have thought of EVERYTHING in the house from beach towels and coolers to cutting boards and tv channel guides. We did download the HomeAway app on our phones and used it quite often for beach and restaurant suggestions. While at the house we did need to contact the owner and heard back immediately so they could address our question. There were 6 adults in the house and it was spacious enough with plenty of towels for everyone so we didn't feel like we were doing laundry all of the time. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend staying at the Kihei Garden Oasis!

The house was so relaxing after touring and/or swimming all day. We would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Maui. We enjoyed the hot tub and used the washer/dryer daily along with the beach towels, cooler and beach chairs. Since there were 6 of us with 2 cars it would have been nice to have another medium size hard sided cooler other than that it had everything you could ever need. Thank you.

Had a wonderful holiday at Kihei Garden Oasis-plenty of room for are family of four adults and three kids. House in a perfect location-close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. House has everything a person needs, especially aloe aftersun gel. Loved sitting outside early mornings and evenings to read or chat. The grandkids enjoyed picking the fruit. Don't have enough words to describe this awesome, quiet oasis. Would highly recommend to others and will certainly be going back.

We had a wonderful stay at Kihei Garden Oasis on our trip with 3 couples. The house is beautiful with lovely, modern furnishings and decorations. The kitchen is well-appointed, and the garage is like a mini beach store with anything you'd need to really enjoy the island. We loved sitting outside on the patio either with coffee or drinks in the morning and evenings. It really was our own private oasis to retire to after a full day of enjoying the island. And what's better to do than jump in a new hot tub after running around all day. I really can't say enough good things about this place. Very convenient, can walk to great restaurants, HH's, the beach in just 5 mins. Great place and would recommend to others.

The Kihei Garden Oasis is not only a lovely home in a neighborhood close to great beaches, yummy food, and stores but also a well appointed vacation rental. The big things, such as enough bedrooms (for a group of 8) and a private outdoor area, were key factors in our choice of a house. Coming with our four children from the Big Island, we were also attracted to the easiness of this rental. Beach gear (including but not limited to boogie boards, beach towels, coolers, beach toys, goggles, snorkel gear, and a variety of bags), board games for all ages, toys for children, and a binder of information about the local area are all provided. The outdoor shower and hose are excellent for rinsing off beach slippers/sandals and beach gear. Everything was so organized, and it made our trip much simpler.
What really surprised us were the little things, such as big containers of shampoo and conditioner in the showers, toilet paper (several rolls), a new roll of paper towels, a new kitchen dish sponge, spices, sugar, condiments, tea, coffee, coffee filters, floss, and even peroxide & cotton balls (which came in handy for boo-boos). It gave us a "pay it forward" kind of feeling, so we left behind tear-free shampoo and conditioner and kid toothpaste for future renters. There was clearly much thought and consideration put into preparing this vacation home, and we truly appreciated it. The Kihei Garden Oasis should serve as a model for other Hawaii vacation rentals.
