From booking to leaving our stay at this condo, made our vacation a little piece of heaven on earth. The owners went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we need. She met us at the Waikiki. Banyan, ran up the parking to meet us in our parking spot, and personally took us on a tour of the condo.
We had to change our dates for booking and she was extremely friendly and accommodating. She even sent us a welcome video prior to arrival.
I have been using VRBO for many years and have stayed at numerous locations. This wonderful couple was by far the best ever!!!

Conveniently located and beautiful view of Waikiki and Diamond head. The unit has all the amenities we needed for our stay. Nice and breezy from all the windows in this corner unit.
The complex’s pool needs updating and it was closed for two days while we were there.
Very fast WiFi but the TV was difficult to operate with multiple remote controls.
All and all the place is comfortable and our host Marilyn is very courteous and helpful with all the information. Mahalo!

We have really enjoyed our time in this apartment in Waikiki. It felt like home when we returned after a day of exploring. It had everything we needed and lovely views with cooling breezes from two sides. Parking for our car rental was good too.
Marilyn was a great communicator with good advice. She pulled out all stops to get us into the apartment earlier to make it easier for our earlier flight arrival. We would stay here again, highly recommended.

Marilyn’s apartment on the top floor of the Waikiki Banyan was perfect for us, a couple in our 60s. The views from the 38th floor are great both of the ocean in front (a great view from the bed and living room!) and Diamondhead from the side. It is a very comfortable apartment perfect for a couple. The location is great just a block or so off of the main drag and a five minute walk to the beach. Condo is well equipped and the furniture was pretty comfortable. you could never get a hotel room with a view like this in Waikiki for this price. I would certainly rent this apartment again if we come back to Waikiki.

We had a wonderful time staying at Marilyn's place. It has a spectacular view, east and southwest. Great location, can walk to heart of Waikiki & beaches in 10 min. Place was spacious, comfortable, and nice kitchen. Appreciated use of beach supplies & ice chest. Free parking is a major plus. Elevators can be slow during busy periods, with waits up to 15 minutes. We had a car, but a public bus stop is in front of building.
We will stay here on our next trip if available.

The views here are epic and the location is wonderful, the hostess is the sweetest person you will ever meet! She communicates promptly, welcomes you and shows you around giving you invaluable tips and she is full of knowledge of all the questions you might have for your vacation. She has everything you need, so check-in before you go grocery shopping or rent beach gear. The reviews are spot on here, it really is a great penthouse to rent. Just a short stroll to the beach and waking up to the great views, you almost don't want to go explore the rest of the island. But with free parking, you should definitely rent a car and go see some of the beauty of Oahu, it is stunning. We love Maui, Kauai, and now Oahu is definitely one of our favorites! And we will stay here next time!

I have been a returning guest in Marilyn and Robert’s vacation rental for many years now. At first it was because I felt safe in their condo. The view is sensational. It comes with parking. The location is perfect - right in the heart of Waikiki. But as the years passed Marilyn and Robert became friends, and I wouldn’t stay any place else.
You won’t find a better vacation rental to stay at in Waikiki, believe me I’ve stayed in many before finding the Magnificent Ocean View Penthouse. You won’t be disappointed that is a guarantee!

I had a wonderful stay at Marilyn's penthouse apartment. The condo has the most unbelievable views of Waikiki! Marilyn was such a gracious host (I had some ph troubles when I first arrived and she patiently waited for me to turn up - sorry again!!) Marilyn was also a ph call away if you needed tips on what to do or help with anything in the condo. The penthouse has everything you need and more - towels, toiletries, beach gear, full kitchen supplies - the list goes on. I would absolutely recommend staying here & being treated to a wonderful experience by Marilyn!

Two words describe this condo: unreal views!! Marilyn has created a comfortable condo with breathtaking views of Waikiki Beach and the Pacific ocean. So often I caught my kids and myself staring out the windows, enjoying the aqua and teal waters of Hawaii. And being located on the top, corner floor meant we could open up side windows that allowed the Tradewinds to blow through the condo and cool things down quickly. Of course, sometimes the Tradewinds weren't there and the wall A/C cooled things down just fine.
By the way, if you can pry your eyes away from the view, the beach is only a block away. It was so delightful to take morning walks with my wife and enjoy the cool air and warm waves lapping up on the our feet. Plus, it was easy to borrow the beach chairs and boogie boards Marilyn let us use and walk past all the cars trying to find parking spots.
One more perk: the side window outside the bedroom and kitchen have stellar views of Diamond Head. Plus, watching the sunrise through these windows was a great way to begin our day since we woke up so early due to the time difference.
We really enjoyed our stay and hope we can visit again some day soon! Aloha and Mahalo!

We really enjoyed our stay in the well located Banyan Waikiki. Amazing views from the top story. No long waits for elevators. Everything on the doorstep. Marilyn went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. The apartment was fine for 4 adults. We used sofa bed and blow up mattress. Bathroom very compact and furniture a little tired but perfectly usable. But did I mention the views!!!!

Check-in process was a breeze as Marilyn met us and helped us park. The parking pass is great for car renters and location is a great starting point for any adventures on the island. Easy walk to the beach and beach equipment very useful. Condo is very comfortable with great views from anywhere, even in the kitchen. Bed is super comfortable, really slept well while there, and son used inflatable mattress and said very comfortable. Next time we come to Hawaii this will be the first place we check for availability.

Marilyn and the view were wonderful. Marilyn was so hospitable/accommodating and even reached out to us to offer a later checkout. It's a penthouse so the view was to die for. I would wake up in the morning and look out the window to my left and see Diamond Head and then look out the extra wide window in the front of the bed and see ocean. What more could you ask for???? I would highly recommend staying here.

We loved staying in the penthouse at the Waikiki Banyan! The condo is spacious and comfortable and the views are amazing! I was concerned that being on the 38th floor would be too high up, but there are 4 elevators, so the wait was typically only a few minutes. In addition, the free parking onsite is wonderful.
Marilyn was great to work with. From the moment we booked, she was so helpful. She greeted us at the Banyan then responded quickly when we had questions. She also texted us with suggestions about currents happenings .

We stayed 8 days for our honeymoon. Marilyn was so helpful, meeting us during check in. She gave us great recommendations for dining and things to do. The place has amazing views of the ocean and Diamond head and a beautiful lanai. There is equipment there to use at the beach and beach chairs to take with you. The beach is a very short walk and restaurants and shopping is right by as well. We would definitely visit again.

Although we have been coming to Hawaii for a number of years, this was our first real visit to Oahu. Great location for exploring Waikiki and the rest of the island, and the free parking was a huge bonus. The unit was clean and comfortable, with a compact but extremely well equipped kitchen. Beach towels, umbrella, chairs, coolers and ice packs were also provided. Then the view.... this is the best unit in the entire building, being the corner penthouse, with views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach - which can be seen from bed - no need to even get up! Nice little deck to eat meals on while gazing at the vista below, plus laundry room conveniently located right next to the unit.
The other added bonus was Marilyn, the owner, who personally met us and showed us around the unit and gave us local tips. She clearly cares about her guests and was always available by text to answer any questions. We would stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Marilyn's place is absolutely wonderful! The pictures of this view don't do it justice, it was such a spectacular sight to wake up to. The condo itself was clean, quiet, and well stocked. Marilyn thought of everything from shampoo and conditioner to reusable bags for trips to the grocery store. It's close to the laundry area and the trash room which is very convenient. It was also great to have a full kitchen (Marilyn even has condiments ready for you!)
The Waikiki Banyan is central to not only the beach but also great restaurants and stores. Most everything was walking distance. We had an absolutely wonderful time here and Marilyn and her husband were amazing hosts. They really went above and beyond for me and my mom; we will be forever grateful. During our next visit to Waikiki, my mom and I know where we'll be staying!

The view is so wonderful and exactly what we needed after a tough period of time.
The location is great - near the quieter, greener end of Waikiki. I loved spending the early morning watching the sky change colors as the sun came up. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants. But having easy parking included opens up the whole island to explore if you have a rental car.
The condo is well equipped. We appreciated having beach chairs and an umbrella to go with the picnic lunches we made.
Marilyn is very helpful and easy to deal with.
I certainly hope that we will be back again. I am missing that view already!

Marilyn and Robert are very gracious hostesses. Communication with them was very easy. The penthouse has a real nice homey feel to it and is great for the family. It’s about 2 blocks away from Waikiki beach with an abundance of shopping and eating in the local vicinity. The place comes with great amenities like snorkels, body board, beach chairs and sand toys, so you don’t have to spend the extra money on things you probably can’t bring home. Another big plus is that the unit comes with a parking pass which also saves you quite a bit of money. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to visit.

My husband and I came to Hawaii to get married and couldn’t have picked a better spot, and condo, for the occasion.
The property was exactly as advertised and was a great location (1 block) to the beach, restaurants, shopping and attractions, providing unreal views of the ocean and Diamond Head. Marilyn was very easy to work with (met us the first day to get us acclimated), made sure we had everything we needed, and thought of everything with coolers, beach chairs, beach mats, umbrella, boogie board and floats.
It was absolutely perfect, would recommend the condo to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

The condo was in a perfect location! Close to the beach and also easy access to hit freeways without too much waikiki traffic. The views are amazing from the lanai and the condo, from sunrise to midday to sunset and even the lights at night. Hosts were very accommodating and just excellent people. The views are spectacular from all the windows in this amazing corner suite way up on the 38th floor. It's surprisingly quiet even though you're in the heart of Waikiki. The location is perfect especially if you want to go to church first thing in the morning because there is a Catholic church steps away. And parking, there is free parking my friends :)
Try this amazing suite out once and you'll never want to stay anywhere else while visiting Waikiki.
Then as an added bonus you'll personally get to meet the owners who will do anything and everything in their power to make you feel right at home. Thank you Marilyn and Robert. See you next year...

Location is a block from Wakiki beach, walking distance to many eating places and bus system if needed. ( Cheesburger-in-Paradise, Tiki Grill and Bar, ( Hawaii 5 O filming place) Many beach supplies are available in rental ;body boards, chairs, cooler, games, etc. Unit is clean with well stocked items needed for your stay. Marilyn is wonderful to work with, she is very helpful as well as sincere in regards to your visit to Hawaii being a great experience. She was so supported of my family when an tour did not go as well as

This condo in Waikiki is beautiful, and Marilyn is extremely helpful and made our stay here a wonderful experience. The condo is located in Waikiki within walking distance to all the attractions of the city. Plus you get free parking (a $25 per day value!) so you're free to explore the entire island. The condo itself is located on the top floor on the corner with beautiful views of both the beach and of Diamond Head. Being on the end of the building allowed us to open windows and get a cross breeze through the rooms.
Marilyn was very quick to respond to all our inquiries, and has stocked the condo with all the amenities you might need (beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, tennis racquets, etc. All the kitchen utensils, paper towels, etc you'll need, and soap, shampoo, toilet paper, hair dryer, etc in the bathroom). The condo is very clean and is well decorated and very comfortable. In short, she went above and beyond providing an exceptional place to stay. We were very impressed with all that she did for us. We will definitely be coming back, and highly recommend staying here.

Was a great place to stay to celebrate my 50th.The views of Waikiki beach & Diamond head were awesome. The decor was Hawaiian. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen was stocked with all the non food items you would need. There were lots of towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equip. The BBQ area, pool and hot tub were great. Marilyn & Robert left us Hawaiian treats and they even called on my birthday to sing happy birthday while playing the ukulele. Perfect for young families! You are right next door to the laundry (no noise) so you can do your own washing and pop back into the condo!

Stayed for 6 nights and had a wonderful time in the condo. It is located conveniently to places where action is taking place around the beach. View from the top was excellent. Stuff that we need inside the condo are all in order and there are also stuff available to use outside the condo (beach toys and equipment as well as tennis rackets and basketball). Though I did not meet Marilyn personally as they were away on vacation also, we were in contact with each other and that she made sure all is okay when we arrived. This condo will be number 1 on our list when we come back in Waikiki.

Marilyn was our lifesaver when trying to book a short three-day stay in Waikiki. We are so lucky we found this condo, as it was absolutely perfect for our stopover. We stayed at this unit for three weeks and had such a wonderful experience in Marilyn and Robert's penthouse. Both were very friendly, resourceful with accommodating attitude. We had couple of low teenagers and the condo was comfortable for all of us. This condo is located conveniently in walking distance from all the Waikiki happenings. Being a corner unit on 38th floor, we were getting such a nice cool breeze all the time. Amenities were excellent and easy to access, the parking space was conveniently located close to elevators. The owners gave us a lot of tips for local site seeing's, ongoing concerts/hula dances, best local places to eat and etc. Beach chairs, umbrella, and some snorkeling equipment was provided and very convenient. The kitchen was well equipped and we used it often along with barbeque grills by the pool. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for friendly/accommodating owners, walking to beach, clean, spectacular view of Ocean, and Diamond head mountain. We would definitely consider coming back to this unit in the future.
