Beautiful, clean 2-bedroom condo with 2 full bathrooms. This condo is so close to everything. We cooked our meals often, there was a BBQ on the lanai and the condo had everything we needed. The pool was perfect, and the grounds were amazing. Would definitely stay again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo. There was ample space for a family of 4, and it had everything we needed. The Master bedroom and ensuite was very large and beds were comfortable, nice big lanai as well. The pool area and grounds were gorgeous. We never had any issues and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We were disappointed that the cleaners didn’t have the property ready on time and when we did check in we knew they would come back to do floors yet we just were so happy to be on vacation we didn’t schedule that. The cabinets were dirty, the coffee pot was broken. The freezer was leaking and it was a very used and dated condo. We were happy to have a place and grateful for our time in Maui. Owner was also upset that they cleaners didn’t have the condo ready for us.

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Wailea while staying at this renovated unit.
The unit was exactly as described, with recently remodelled bathrooms and the closed-off 2nd bedroom and updated kitchen appliances (incl an indispensable water/ice-making fridge!), and we were grateful for the A/C units in the main living area and each bedroom in the evenings/overnight. Opening the windows during the mornings/lunchtime, esp if front door was also propped open to create a cross-breeze kept it cool during the days. The beds were comfortable, and the master/ensuite is huge!
The unit has a beautiful large partially-shaded lanai looking over a green space, with Okolani Road just beyond. Because of its proximity to the road, it wasn't super quiet in the mornings with some local road traffic (and lawnmowing occasionally), and I wouldn't really say it's full ocean-view as you had to peek through high tree foliage to see it (no sunset views), but at least it didn't overlook the paved parking spots like other units do. I enjoyed my morning coffee there each day.
The owners left us lots of laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs so we didn't have to purchase. There were ample spices in the pantry, and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes/glasses and cooking utensils etc, which was very helpful for cooking breakfasts and lunches. There's even a Keurig coffeemaker if you want to bring your own pods (we couldn't find any at the Costco). There were enough beach chairs and umbrellas in the closet for our family to use, and even a boogie board. Bring or rent/buy your snorkelling equipment.
The pool was large and quiet (no ball-throwing or floaties allowed), and we never had trouble finding pool loungers to lie on. There's a good sized shady area by early afternoon at one end of the pool.
The location of the unit was great for getting around by car, and the local beach was only a 10 min walk downhill and across Okolani Rd (uphill after a day in the hot sun was a different matter, but we decided to drive down to the local Wailea beaches with our beach gear after the first time, once we realized there was free public parking at all the beaches, and spots easy enough to find due to turnover).
Bonnie was easy to contact, and responded quickly to any questions we had. 2 of our sun umbrellas broke in the wind (beware the rapidly-shifting gusts of wind at the beaches!) & she was kind enough not to charge us.
I would choose this unit again for our next Palms stay!

Booking was easy. We were provided plenty of detail for easy check-in as well as what was expected upon check out. The one minor maintenance issues encountered during our first few days was quickly addressed.

The owner provided great information about the property and the area, and was very gracious with all of our questions as this was our first VRBO experience. Having stayed at other units on the property, this was superior. Perks include 3 AC units, nice renos throughout (great lighting), with the second bedroom providing privacy for our friends without the sliding doors original to other units. Plenty of towels on hand, with the kitchen well stocked so that we didn't have to run the dishwasher until it was full. Huge thanks to previous guests who left their condiments! It was helpful to not have to buy full size of spices, etc. for our 8 day stay. Loved the lanai size with the BBQ. Comfy beds and thoughtful amenities in unit. Host Bonnie is a pleasure to deal with.

We spent the Month of March in this very nice condo. Location was excellent for our purposes. We golfed every course on the island, the closest ones multiple times, Kapalua and Kaanapali only once since they were a much further drive.
The condo was spacious enough for two couples for a month, the best feature was the extra large lanai where we ate all our meals, never once inside. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were good but on the softer side for our preference, but that’s a personal issue. All the other amenities such as Weber BBQ, beach chairs, beach umbrellas etc were there for us.

This is a spacious 2 bedroom in a great part of Wailea that is walkable to a beach and to a few shops and restaurants. Bonnie was easy to communicate with and gave us all instructions and information ahead of our stay so we knew exactly what to do to check-in and check-out. Easy and convenient.

My family and I had an amazing stay! The description of the condo and pictures provided are exactly as is. Bonnie reached out to me the day prior making sure I had all the check in instructions as well as the directions to the condo. The BBQ, lounge chairs and big patio table on the lanai was extremely nice to use. We ate breakfast out on the lanai just about every morning. The beds are very comfortable and the pack n play provided for our 6 month old to use was perfect for her. There were plenty of towels to use for showers as well as beach towels. The umbrellas and beach chairs provided were perfect as well for our beach days. Safeway is about 9 min from the condo, making it very convenient as we cooked a lot of our meals. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for somewhere to stay while on the island. It's definitely worth it! Thank you!

Loved the size of this condo. I wish the pool view was not blocked. Considering it looks mostly shrubby in front I think it could be cut down so that the view is visible again.
Other than that we had a lovely time. Bonnie was very accommodating with a bit early check in and also check out. Meant a lot to us. A caring contact person makes all the difference in one’s vacation.

I'd start by listing a couple of things missing in the description/other reviews. Be aware, while lanai does overlook gardens and green space, there is a pretty busy road that leads to the beach/resorts just after this green space (not a large one) so there are always cars morning/ evening. Thus, instead of facing the green and calm listening to nature - you are looking at cars and listening to the car noises.
Personally, we found the master bed super uncomfortable and extra firm with a cheap thin pad (we do have a luxury firm at home). Ended up putting a toddler in a master and using a guest bedroom.
As another reviewer mentioned, condo has the signs of deferred maintenance. As the property itself is pretty old, you can actually feel it in the condo. The updates do not really change it, got the impression kitchen was remodeled a few years back and already show the signs of wear. There was some smell when we came in, nothing specific, just something you get in older not well-ventilated places.
While there are some beach chairs which are listed in the vrbo description - half of those were actually broken and Bonnie emailed saying they do not guarantee those (I think also that what stated in their arrival check in)
On the positive, the location is pretty good. You can walk to the beach but with all the gear driving is easier. The views from the pool are sweet, The bathrooms were nicely updated. Note - they removed the tub (the description still lists it: The master bath is also oversized with a shower, tub and private toilet area and large mirrored double closet.) This ended up being a huge pain point for us as we have very young kids who could not use showers.
Overall, I think Bonnie is very nice and hospitable. I feel she cares about her guests and condos - they are just not what's advertised/ extected. As someone who lived in luxury apartment buildings and stayed in trully luxury vacation rentals (including Maui), my bar is pretty high for things that claim a "paradise remodel" and a "luxury" condo complex.
We have some small mixup at check in and Bonnie was available over the phone to help, she also extended our checkout which worked wonders with young kids.

We stayed as a 3 generation family, & all enjoyed our vacation. The condo is close to many beaches where parking was free & snorkeling was great! We ate in frequently although there were many restaurant choices just a short drive away. The grounds are beautiful & well maintained. We especially enjoyed the large lanni mornings & evenings. A gas grill was a plus. We’ll come back again!

Booking was straightforward. Property as described. I fixed the sticky sliding door. Problem with fridge shelving...fixit guy responded quickly to address that. Two possible additions would be a small Bluetooth music player, coffee grinder and washable duvet covers. Great complex. Would stay again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The Palms is perfectly located between Wailea and Kihei, with many restaurants and beaches within minutes. This unit is very clean and has great beds! Check in was the easiest as it has a key code. And no remembering “who has the key?” We appreciated the beach chairs. I would recommend, absolutely.

We were surprised by the amount of deferred maintenance in this condo. The grill was filthy and not working, the washing machine was not working properly and there were other signs of inattention throughout. Nice sized lanai. Do not expect an ocean view from the condo. The layout was nice. The kitchen was nice and well equiped.
