My husband and I have stayed in the same condo for many years and have found it to be the best accommodation in the state of Hawaii. We have beem coming to the islands for over 30 years to try different islands and places to stay. Our favorite is west end Maui and this condo. It has been beautifully remodeled and maintained, the bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking almost everything and we love it!

Paul and Laurie gave the most exceptional service when scheduling throughout our stay and even after we left. They were even watching a grass fire near the airport for us so we would be aware if our flights were delayed. You don’t see that kind of service nowadays, and those little touches are so well needed in todays world.
Their island paradise was the most amazing place to stay for our 40th anniversary. The condo is very very relaxing and clean and stocked with everything that you could want. It is very quiet in this area -I can’t say enough about the sunsets-Exquisite ! did not miss one sunset .
The access to beaches by the condo and a half a mile or so away, are very easy to get to , Paul and Laurie gave so much information about local supermarkets, local fish markets, and restaurants that my husband and I have tried new things even though we have been to Maui before .
we will definitely come back!

We are absolutely pleased with this condo we rented. Gorgeous views of the ocean from living room and bedroom. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook with. 2 coffee makers 10 cup pot as well as a Keriug. Comfortable furnishings and bed. Washer and dryer. Lanai was beautiful. Such a pleasant experience interacting with the owners. They were wonderful. I would not hesitate to rent this unit again.

Paul and the condo were both awesome! So glad we chose this listing! Super close to ocean...just steps from the door. Many famous and beautiful beaches within minutes of the property. Excellent dining options as well. We will definitely try to book again if we return to Maui!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We did have a few minor issues the first couple of days, which happens, and the owner, Paul, was super responsive and quick in solving them. The location is beautiful we saw Whales, dolphins everyday. It's a short 5 minute walk down the beach to great swimming beaches and several restaurants within walking distance including a cool food truck park. We hated leaving.

We secured this rental for our honeymoon and it was everything we had hoped for. Paul was an amazing host. He was very attentive before we even arrived. He communicated everything we needed to know long before we arrived at the property. Check-in was a breeze. When we accessed the unit we were pleasantly surprised that is had all of the amenities of home. It was great to relax and let the sound of the ocean to lull us to sleep. We are looking forward to renting with Paul again on our next visit.

We had a great stay at this condo. It was very clean, had a washer and dryer and a stocked kitchen. We had our 11 month old son with us and the place was baby friendly. We just had to rent a high chair and pack n play. The view was incredible and there wasn’t many people walking past the unit because it is the 2nd unit on the end. I highly recommend this unit and the Aston Mahana due to the quiet location and easy walk to Dukes and numerous other restaurants. Paul was also very responsive prior to the stay and throughout. 5 stars…

Overall, this condo is in a awesome location and very well maintained. It was very clean, with all the necessities, including beach gear and full kitchen. Great patio of table, chairs and a lounger for watching beautiful sunsets every night. It's also located on the ground level towards the end of the complex, giving your family easy access to the pool, parking lot and the beach. Owner was easy to communicate with and ensured we had a heads up to some required maintenance that was scheduled. We had a fantastic vacation and will return!

My husband and I stayed here for our 20th Wedding Anniversary, and we couldn't have picked a better location! The house was well equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, ice chest, and snorkeling gear. The views from the master bedroom and living room were gorgeous, and the orienatation of the condo was perfect, providing shade for your morning coffee but ample sun the rest of the day for sunbathing and sunset gazing.
A short walk to many restaurants, bars, and great snorkeling just topped it off.
Paul (the owner) had a great communication and recommended some fabulous local places to eat.
We hated to leave, and can't wait to go back!

We loved our stay. It's in a great location- easy to get to Kapalua and Lahina. We could not hear any neighbors- it's great being in a quiet area. The place was gorgeous and we spent so much time on the lanai reading/looking at the ocean.

Paul was an amazing host! Very quick to respond to questions. His place is so well stocked, you won’t need to bring anything! Coolers, amazing beach chairs for 3, umbrellas, boogie boards just to name the beach items :-) The kitchen has so many items for cooking, baking and prepping, we didn’t even use half of them. If you don’t find it, you don’t need it. The house was very clean and the lanai was amazing! We sat for hours outside taking in the amazing sunsets and whale watching. The whales were so close you could see the details on their tails!! We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maui!

Couple that with how well done and kept up the inside of the condo is and you have the recipe for a great stay. The owners are more than resposive and will take care of any concern that may come up. Ground floor unit with easy access. Just walk in and immediately enjoy the views. Perfect inside and out. Tasteful furnishings in excellent condition. Kitchen is well stocked with amenities. It’s on the ground floor – right on the water! You feel like you’re on the beach the entire stay. Patio not only has a dining table; it also has a chair and ottoman. We started the day with morning coffee on the patio while watching the surfers and in the evening, we enjoyed viewing the spectacular sunsets. The owner is very knowledgeable of the island and gave us great tips on local restaurants and sightseeing.

The first thing I saw was ants on the kitchen counters. I know it’s the islands but other ppl in other units or resorts did not have to succumb to this. I did not even want to cook my food I purchased. The sofa bed was worn down. The furniture can use being replaced. Normal wear and tear but it was tired looking. Next time I might just suck it up and do a hotel. Nice location though.

From the moment we walked into our unit we were in amazement of the location and beauty of the view. The Unit inside was open with many mirrors that showed the view all over the living room. Large kitchen with all amenities you can think of. Large Bedroom and nice size bathroom and vanity. The privacy and quietness was wonderful Its perfectly located.. Location is less than 15 min. to Front street and other local stops. We will defiantly request this unit again.

This unit is by far the best unit we have stayed in on Maui. You cannot beat the location. Ground floor right next to the ocean and walking distance to restaurants, shopping, everything you could possibly need is provided and steps away from the beach. My wife and I spent 10 days at this very nicely furnished modern condo. I think the Mahana is ideally located in Kaanapali and it is one of our favorite vacation properties on Maui. We really liked the easy access to the beach from this ground floor unit. The owner responded promptly to all my questions prior to booking and during my stay. All my expectations were met and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

They had everything you can imagine. Just bring your personal items and you're in for a beautiful vacation. The Condo was first class, with a view of the best sunsets not to leave out seeing whales from the lani every day. We will definitely return for another relaxing vacation.

One concern with staying in a ground floor unit is privacy. Not with this condo, as it is toward the end of the building, with no access to the adjoining property, so there were very few people walking in front of the condo. The condo was nicely furnished and comfortable. We appreciated having a low chair with ottoman on the lanai, in addition to the table and upright chairs.

We stayed 11 nights here. The condo was extremely clean and met all expectations from description and pictures. The beach in front had less sand and a higher water line than in the pictures. Watching sunsets from the lanai was awesome. The reservation and check-in went very smooth. The Mahana complex was quiet and peaceful. The parking lot was conveniently close as well as shops and restaurants. I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

This was our first trip to Maui and the condo exceeded our expectations. It is very luxurious with stunning sunset views of Lanai and Moloki from the bedroom, lanai and living room. The location is great and a short drive to shopping, restaurants and beaches. As other reviews have noted, this condo is equipped with virtually everything you might possibly need - there were even some beers in the fridge (maybe left by the previous guests) which hit the spot after our long flight from San Diego via Honolulu - we replenished those for the next guests. Paul, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with and provided easy to follow directions from the airport, plus fabulous restaurant recommendations. We stayed five nights, but in hindsight seven would have allowed us to do more of what we wanted. The beach directly in front of the Mahana is not very deep even at low tide, however Paul gave us great recommendations for beaches a short distance away. We loved our time here and would definitely come back.

We highly recommend this condo. It was immaculate and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware and utensils one could possibly need. There were even spices and herbs in the cabinet. Paul, the owner, had clearly given much thought to all the amenities that add extra comfort. The condo also had all kinds of beach items such as beach umbrella, beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, snorkel equipment and more. The patio was delightful. We usually ate breakfast and dinner there. Adjoining the patio was a grassy area with chaise lounges to relax and watch the sunsets. The location was convenient for grocery stores and restaurants. Paul was very accommodating and also provided us with great information on restaurants, and things to see and do in the area.

I have been to the Mahana several times and this is my first stay in a ground floor unit. I found that I preferred the ground floor. The lanai has an extended covered patio providing more space to entertain. I could easily access the lounge chairs, pool and beach from the sliding doors. The temperature in the unit is comfortable in the afternoon, whereas upper floor units can get quite warm when the sun beats on the windows. I enjoyed the ocean view; watching the sail boats and surfing. The condo is beautiful, everything inside the unit is new and very high end. The owners are easy to work with and keep the unit immaculate.
